ORLANDO, Fla. - A 12-year-old boy was airlifted to a trauma center Sunday following a suspected bite incident in Cocoa Beach, according to Brevard County Fire Rescue.
What we don't know
Officials issued a trauma alert after responding to reports of a child suffering from a significant bite wound. While authorities could not immediately confirm the bite was caused by a shark, they said it appeared to be inflicted by some kind of marine animal.
The incident remains under investigation, and no further details about the boy's condition have been released.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, For The Win can independently confirm a complaint was filed with the WNBA regarding a member of the Storm organization. The latest complaint filed against Seattle is the second in as many as seven months, dating back to last year. So, how did we get here? Where did this all come from? We're here to help you out. Here's everything we know regarding the WNBA complaint filed against the Seattle Storm: This is an ongoing story and will be updated as new information is made available. When was the first complaint against the Seattle Storm? In November of 2024, the Chicago Sun-Times revealed that Seattle's coaching staff was under investigation for alleged player harassment and bullying related to on-court performance and incidents during practice and games. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, former guard Jewell Loyd reportedly made the complaint against the the time, the allegations were reportedly about incidents during practices and games and were tied to the experiences of multiple players. Although not immediately clear if related, during the same period, starting guard Skylar Diggins also shared several cryptic posts to Instagram. What did the investigation find? Weeks later, in December 2024, the Storm announced that a third-party investigation team did not find any violations. Here's what Seattle said via a statement to ESPN: "The organization retained an outside investigator to conduct an impartial investigation into the allegations. The investigation has been completed and there were no findings of policy violations or any discrimination, harassment or bullying." "To protect the integrity of the process, and to preserve confidentiality, we chose not to comment while the investigation was ongoing. The Storm will continue to provide a work environment in which all individuals are treated with respect." Was Jewell Loyd's trade request related to the Storm's investigation? It remains unknown if the investigation into the Storm impacted Loyd's decision to request a trade, but shortly after it concluded, Loyd requested to end her time with Seattle. In January, she eventually landed with the Las Vegas Aces via a three-team trade. What's different about this latest complaint? Unlike the complaint from 2024, there isn't an official investigation. Still, the WNBA is looking into the matter. Following a recent Aces-Storm game, there was allegedly a confrontation. A filed complaint alleges that a Seattle assistant coach cursed at an Aces player. The league is now reviewing the incident.

The Brief A non-profit that helps victims of sexual assault and domestic violence was victimized by vandals. The Women's Center of Brevard suffered extensive damage to their Aurora Road location. The non-profit is still serving the community at other locations, but needs help with rebuilding. MELBOURNE, Fla. - A longtime nonprofit in Florida is asking for help after discovering extensive damage from a break-in last week that left their facility vandalized and ransacked. What we know Last Thursday, the Women's Center of Brevard team walked into severe destruction at their location on Aurora Road. Almost every room was broken into. Office supplies were stolen. Vulgar profanity was plastered on the walls with paint and permanent marker. Chairs were thrown into drywall. The center immediately filed a report with Melbourne Police, who are still investigating. The nonprofit has been serving Brevard County for 50 years, and says they've never been targeted like this. They're raising funds to rebuild and need help with clean-up and donations after the attack. What we don't know It's unclear if one person or multiple people attacked the non-profit. It's also unclear what the potential motive was. The Women's Center is still going through their inventory to see how much was taken or damaged. They still don't know the total amount it will cost to fix the space. The police haven't released any information on a suspect or leads they are following. What they're saying The women's center staff is heartbroken but still committed to serving the community and moving forward. "One of our core values is resiliency, and we will continue to be resilient to make sure we are serving the people in our community that we intended to serve," said Stephanie Husted, who's the Executive Director for the Women's Center of Brevard. "It's hard to see it the way it is now," Michael Aponte, who's the Director of Victim Services for South Brevard, the location of the Women's Center. They found the bodies of the three children, and Decker's truck, near a campground. PEWAUKEE, Wis. - A manhunt is underway for a man suspected of killing three young children in Washington state. What we know Authorities in Washington confirmed three girls, ages 5, 8 and 9, were found dead on Monday, June 2. Their father – a Pewaukee native – is now suspected in their murder. Investigators don't know where he is. Years before he was the subject of a police investigation, Travis Decker called Pewaukee home. He's remembered for pinning an opponent at a state tournament. But what happened 1,800 miles away in Wenatchee, Washington has authorities searching the country for him. Investigators say the 32-year-old kidnapped his daughters during a planned visitation on Friday. Police say Decker was homeless and living out of his 2017 GMC Sierra pickup truck. When the girls didn't return, U.S. Department of Homeland Security joined detectives in the search. They found the bodies of the three children, and Decker's truck, near a campground. Dig deeper FOX6 News spoke with Decker's brother, TJ Decker, by phone. He said he had a falling out with Decker years ago and the two haven't spoken since. He stressed, "the girls are what matter most." He said they were "taken too soon." TJ Decker also confirmed his brother graduated from Pewaukee High School in 2010. Investigators say Decker is a former military member with extensive training. It's not known if he's armed.
