The Airbus A321 taxied to the gate, where all passengers were evacuated.
Emergency crews on the ground declared a major incident, according to BNO news.
A fleet fire trucks, ambulances and a medical helicopter descended on the plane after it stopped.
Crews rushed on board in to investigate the cause of the smoke.
The landing reportedly ran smoothly and there were no reports of casualties.
It was not immediately clear what caused the outpouring of smoke.
The London Luton-bound flight had departed from Poznań, and was forced to land at Schiphol Airport.
An emergency was declared onboard at around 11:30am BST on Sunday.
A spokesperson for the airline told BNO News: 'As a recovery plan, Wizz Air has immediately sent an aircraft from London Luton Airport to bring the affected passengers to London Luton as soon as possible."

Girlfriend's tribute to 'inspirational' ice hockey star killed in horror Ibiza fall

Gary Kelly, from Dundee, died instantly in the fall at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel during the early hours of Monday morning, July 21, with his devastated girlfriend leading tributes The heartbroken girlfriend of a Scottish ice hockey star who tragically died after falling from an Ibiza hotel has paid tribute to her "inspiring" late boyfriend. ‌ Gary Kelly, a talented sportsman from Dundee, tragically lost his life in a fall at Ibiza Rocks during the early hours of Monday morning, July 21. Despite two ambulances rushing to the scene, paramedics sadly confirmed there was nothing they could do to save him. ‌ This same hotel has now seen four tourists fall to their deaths while staying at the establishment in recent months. Louise Essery, the 19-year-old's girlfriend, shared a touching tribute to Gary, whom she described as inspirational in every aspect of his life. ‌ Taking to Facebook with a poignant statement, Louise told loved ones that she would "remember the good times" and "celebrate the love he brought into their lives." She penned: "I never thought I would be sat here writing a goodbye. For those who knew Gary, oh you were so lucky. His passion and dedication was inspiring, whether in hockey, work, or with loved ones. I'm struggling to understand how you are no longer with me. ‌ "It hasn't really hit me yet. Gary taught and showed me valuable lessons that I'll carry with me forever. I think it's important to remember the good times and to celebrate the love he brought into our lives." She went on: "Everything feels heavy, and words can't express the love I have for Gary. I wish you could see how much you are loved. Even though our experiences together have paused, the memories we made will stay with me forever. I miss you so much already. "Thank you for the kind messages about Gary; they mean a lot. I love you forever and always, Gary Kelly." ‌ Spanish authorities confirmed in a statement that they were alerted to the incident at around 12.40am, reports the Daily Record. An investigation has been initiated following the most recent fatality at the hotel. Evan Thomson, from Aberdeen, tragically lost his life just two weeks ago at the same four-star hotel. The 26-year-old, who was on holiday with a mate celebrating his birthday, fell to his death on July 7. ‌ Gary, who played ice hockey for both Dundee Stars and Aberdeen Lynx last season, was remembered as a "hugely talented and charismatic individual". His sister, Kharis Kelly, also left a heartfelt tribute saying: "Our hearts are shattered beyond words. Our handsome boy has gone to the other side, Absolutely no words. We are asking everyone to respect our privacy as a family while we try to navigate through this tragic news. You'll forever be our boy Gary, Sleep tight." ‌ A spokesman for the Spanish Civil Guard added: "The fall could be accidental based on the early information obtained from cameras but as part of the investigation possible witnesses will need to be located and interviewed. The results of the post-mortem will also be important to the investigation." On Monday, bosses at Ibiza Rocks said they were "deeply shocked and devastated" following the latest tragedy as they suspended all events at the hotel. A spokesperson stated: "Our priority is to support those affected and their loved ones during this incredibly difficult time, and to fully assist the authorities with their investigations. "The safety and wellbeing of our guests has, and always will remain, our highest priority. Given the seriousness of the situation and out of respect for those involved, we believe it is right to pause our advertised events programme at this time."

TSA issues urgent warning to all smartphone users over data theft

By Many people would consider themselves to be nervous flyers. But a recent warning from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) may be an indication that you need to be more worried about what happens before you even get on a plane. 'In this technology age, cybersecurity has never been more important,' the TSA wrote on a recent Facebook post. 'You've likely heard about things like email scams and social media scams (tip: don't accept that friend request from your buddy's "new" profile), but today we want to share our two best tips for staying cyber safe at airports while you're traveling.' Both of the tips involved safety with your smartphone. While we all typically glue ourselves to our phone once we're safely by our gate and waiting for a flight, it's possible that your mobile device might be behind your next cybersecurity attack. The TSA suggested that charging ports at the airport aren't always as trustworthy as you might have assumed. They warned against 'juice jacking,' which is when a charging port has been altered so that it can be used to transfer malware to or steal personal information from a phone. 'So, when you're at an airport do not plug your phone directly into a USB port,' the TSA wrote. 'Bring your TSA-compliant power brick or battery pack and plug in there.' The second warning involves WiFi. In terms of free internet, the TSA pretty much says to stay away entirely. 'Don't use free public WiFi, especially if you're planning to make any online purchases,' the entity posted. 'Do not ever enter any sensitive info while using unsecure WiFi.' Similar to juice jacking, some unsecure WiFi networks could be stealing your information - which includes your card information when you're trying to pay for something. So what if you need to get on the WiFi? The TSA suggested you disconnect from unknown networks, only enter encrypted sites, and stay away from downloads.
