Air ambulance at Conwy beach after person rescued from sea
An air ambulance was scrambled to a North Wales beach after a sea rescue. The incident happened this afternoon at Conwy Morfa. Police reported that a person got into difficulties while in the sea off the coast. The Wales Air Ambulance was called at around 4.30pm. They flew from the base to the beach outside Conwy town. The helicopter has now left the scene and is flying east. Police remain at the scene. A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "We are currently in attendance at an incident on Conwy Morfa beach alongside other emergency service partners. "An individual who got into difficulty in the water has been rescued."
