Proud Ranveer Singh praises ‘most feared team' MI after they lose to PBKS; Preity Zinta is all smiles for Punjab Kings

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Ranveer called Mumbai Indians the 'most feared team'. Preity Zinta cheered for her team as she beamed with joy. Ranveer, who is an avid cricket follower, penned an uplifting message for the Mumbai Indians team. On his Instagram Stories, the actor shared a picture collage of the team. He wrote, "Not ours this time, but still mad proud of the boys (raised hands emoji). Showed our might and mettle in a hard-fought tournament. Still the most feared team in the league (blue heart emoji). Unbreakable spirit. Indefatigable Indians."
Preity on X (formerly Twitter) shared a video capturing moments she spent with her team. In the clip, Preity cheered for PBKS, interacted with the players, hugged them and also posed for photos with them. The video ended with her husband, Gene Goodenough, joining her for photos.

We take a look at the major trophies that Kohli has won in his illustrious career: ODI World Cup: A 22-year-old Kohli won the title back in 2011, when he was just three years into his international career. He scored 282 runs in nine matches in that tournament, at an average of 35.25 and with a hundred to his name, which came in India's opening game. He played three more ODI World Cups over the years and finished as semifinalists twice and runners-up once. T20 World Cup: This title took years to come for Kohli, and when it did, he hung up his boots from the format. The final of the 2024 edition of the tournament saw him play a match-winning knock against South Africa in Barbados as he took India to safety after an early collapse. India's first T20 World Cup title had come back in 2007, a year before Kohli's international debut, and after failing in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2021 and 2022, he finally won it last year. Champions Trophy: This is the only ICC trophy that Kohli has won twice. He won it first back in 2013, as a 24-year-old, and this triumph remained India's biggest win till last year's T20 World Cup. IPL Trophy: While it probably wouldn't rank anywhere above the aforementioned, this eluded Kohli for the longest time. 'As far as the IPL trophy is concerned, you've made me wait 18 years to be able to lift it and celebrate my friend, but it's been worth the wait," Kohli wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.
