Wisconsin 11-year-old accidentally shot, killed by sibling
RACINE, Wis. (WFRV) – An 11-year-old from southeast Wisconsin was pronounced dead at the hospital after they were reportedly accidentally shot by their sibling, who was later taken into police custody.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, May 16, officers with the Racine Police Department say they were made aware of a juvenile who had been shot and was being taken to a local hospital by their family.

Officers say the 11-year-old victim was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
According to the officers preliminary investigation, the incident took place within a residence in the 2600 block of Prospect Street when the victim was accidentally shot by a sibling. The sibling was subsequently taken into custody.

Police dog Nox joined them in the classroom, where students observed how K-9s are trained and how they assist officers on calls. The academy is open to high school students in the area and is designed to help them determine whether law enforcement might be the right career path. 38-year-old man arrested in Urbana on child exploitation crimes
URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — A joint investigation by the Urbana Police Department and a Kentucky Police Department resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old man on three child sex crimes Wednesday morning. On June 11, officers with the Urbana Police Department arrested Carson Zajdel at his residence in the 1900 block of N Lincoln Ave., officials said in a release. He was taken into custody without incident on the following preliminary charges: Indecent solicitation of a child Sexual exploitation of a child Possession of child pornography 4-year-old hurt in Danville hit-and-run; driver charged The arrest of Zajdel comes after a joint investigation between the Urbana Police Department and the Hopkinsville Police Department, based in Hopkinsville, KY. This investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional charges may be considered as evidence continues to be reviewed. According to Urbana Police, because of the sensitive and ongoing nature of the investigation, no additional information is being released at this time. MCSO searching for suspect who evaded on motorcycle
MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Midland County Sheriff's Office has asked for help from the community to identify a suspect accused of evading arrest. According to Crime Stoppers, on May 30, investigators with the MCSO tried to contact a man at the Kent Kwik located in the 5000 block of Highway 349. However, the man ran from deputies, got on his motorcycle, and sped away from the parking lot. MCSO said that investigators followed the motorcycle, but it continued to evade, reaching speeds of more than 100 miles per hour. When the suspect reached Interstate 20, he began to drive on the wrong side of the road and, because of safety concerns, investigators terminated the pursuit; but still want to identify the man who got away. Anyone with information has been asked to call Crime Stoppers at 432-694-TIPS.
