Bruce Springsteen to release 7 albums of unreleased songs, 'Track ll: The Lost Albums'
Bruce Springsteen knows what Bruce Springsteen fans want. And that's more Bruce Springsteen.
The Boss will release seven new studio albums, titled 'Tracks II: The Lost Albums,' on June 27. It will contain material written and re-recorded between 1983 and 2018.
The news arrived Thursday morning via Instagram. The 83-song collection is mostly previously unreleased tracks, 74 of them never-before-heard songs, in a box set that includes a 100-page hardcover book.
In a short video clip posted to the social media platform, Springsteen explains that during the COVID-19 pandemic, he began completing 'everything I had in my vault,' he says. 'The Lost Albums are records that were full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released.'
Springsteen first teased the records on Wednesday morning. A short video posted to his Instagram account revealed that something called 'The Lost Albums" was forthcoming, along with Thursday's date, April 3, 2025. The clip also featured text that read 'What was lost has been found.'
The caption urged his followers to head to www.lostalbums.net. It led to a subscription webpage and featured the dates '1983-2018."
'Tracks ll" follows his first 'Tracks' volume. Released in 1998, it was a 4-CD, 66-song collection of unreleased material.
Springsteen released his last studio album, 'Only the Strong Survive,' in 2022. It was a collection of covers, the Boss taking on classics from the Four Tops, Temptations, Supremes, Frankie Wilson, Jimmy Ruffin and others.
The late soul legend Sam Moore, a frequent Springsteen collaborator, sang on two of the cuts.
'I wanted to make an album where I just sang,' Springsteen said in a statement at the time. 'And what better music to work with than the great American songbook of the Sixties and Seventies?"
Next month, Springsteen and the E Street band will embark on a tour of Europe and the U.K., beginning May 17 at Co-op Live in Manchester, England, and concluding on July 3 in Milan, Italy, at the San Siro Stadium.

Breast Friends and Family emerged as the winner from 30 nominated organisations West Lothian Film Festival has confirmed that its first official charity partner is Breast Friends and Family. The announcement follows more than five months of public voting and 2,164 individual ballots cast, and the partnership will run for the next three years. Nominations opened in October last year and the public were invited to nominate and vote via social media for local causes they felt deserved recognition and support. There were 30 organisations in the running, with Breast Friends and Family emerging as the winner after securing more than 700 public votes. Breast Friends and Family aims to support patients through a breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Based on Glasgow Road in Bathgate they provide practical, emotional, and peer support for breast cancer patients across West Lothian. From its office, affectionately known as The Heart, the charity distributes treatment support bags, runs wellbeing sessions, and offers a vital sense of solidarity to those facing diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. West Lothian Film Festival has attracted 306 films — an unprecedented increase from last year's 82 submissions. All submissions are currently in the hands of the 20 strong volunteer judging panel. Festival Director Christopher McPhillips said: 'Every nominated charity had something meaningful to offer West Lothian, and we're grateful to have celebrated them all over the past five months. With 747 votes, Breast Friends and Family clearly resonated with our community, representing compassion, strength, and unity. 'The people of West Lothian chose them as their charity of choice, and we're proud to use our platform to support and celebrate the incredible work they do. While it's been an honour to spotlight 30 brilliant organisations, we're equally proud to now walk alongside Breast Friends and Family as our official partner for the next three years.' As part of the three-year charity partnership, the festival has committed to: full marketing and promotional support, volunteer days from the festival team, and a dedicated Breast Friends and Family showcase day at each edition of the festival from 2026 to 2028. Kaleb Cooper suffers 'painful' injury as he shares health update from A&E
Kaleb Cooper, known for being Jeremy Clarkson's handyman on Diddly Squat farm, has experienced a new injury this week and has shared a new health update from hospital Kaleb Cooper has revealed that he has suffered a 'painful' injury as he shared an update from A&E on Wednesday. The Clarkson's Farm star , 26, took to Instagram to share that he had to go to the hospital for a scan after hurting his foot after playing a game of football on Tuesday evening. Kaleb said he was in a lot of pain as he shared a video of his swollen ankle as he hobbled around his farm before heading to hospital for an X-ray the next morning. He then took to his Instagram story to reassure fans that he would still be going to the Three Counties Show at the weekend. He said, "I may be hobbling around as I've fractured my ankle, but I'll still be at the 3 Counties Show on the Sunday. I'll be doing talks throughout the day, and Hawkestone Cider will be there. So, do pop along and say hello. I'll be there - don't you worry! I'm looking forward to it." The news comes just days after the fourth season of Clarkson's Farm dropped on Prime Video. Surviving Beach Boys pay tribute to ‘genius' Brian Wilson
His cousin Mike Love, 84, said Wilson's 'musical gifts were unmatched' while Al Jardine described his bandmate as 'my brother in spirit'. Wilson was the eldest and last surviving of the three brothers who formed the American rock band with Love and school friend Jardine in 1961. 'The melodies he dreamed up, the emotions he poured into every note – Brian changed the course of music forever,' Love wrote in a lengthy post on Facebook, saying there was 'something otherworldly' about Wilson. 'Like all families, we had our ups and downs. But through it all, we never stopped loving each other, and I never stopped being in awe of what he could do when he sat at a piano or his spontaneity in the studio.' Describing Wilson as 'fragile, intense, funny' and 'one of a kind', he said his music 'allowed us to show the world what vulnerability and brilliance sound like in harmony'. 'Brian, you once asked 'Wouldn't it be nice if we were older?' Now you are timeless,' he wrote. The Beach Boys started as a neighbourhood act, rehearsing in Wilson's bedroom and in the garage of their house in suburban Hawthorne, California with Wilson playing bass alongside his brothers Dennis as the drummer and Carl on lead guitar. The band were managed by the trio's father, Murry Wilson, but by mid-decade he had been displaced and Brian, who had been running the band's recording sessions almost from the start, was in charge. They released their most recognised album, Pet Sounds, in May 1966 which included the popular songs Wouldn't It Be Nice and God Only Knows. Wilson married singer Marilyn Rovell in 1964 and the couple welcomed daughters Carnie and Wendy, whom he became estranged from following their divorce. He later reconciled with them and they sang together on the 1997 album The Wilsons, which was also the name of a music group formed by Carnie and Wendy following the break-up of pop vocal group Wilson Phillips. Wilson, who had dealt with mental health and drug problems, got his life back on track in the 1990s and married talent manager Melinda Ledbetter. When Ledbetter died last year, Wilson said their five children, Daria, Delanie, Dylan, Dash and Dakota, were 'in tears'. Wilson was also embroiled in multiple lawsuits some of which followed from the release of his 1991 autobiography, Wouldn't It Be Nice: My Own Story. The Beach Boys were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and received a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award in 2001. Wilson's brother Dennis died in 1983 while Carl died in 1998.
