3,000 music fans wowed by Sugababes at Cheshire Oaks
They performed crowd pleasing, chart-topping hits including Push the Button, Overload and Freak Like Me as part of the 30th anniversary celebration of Cheshire Oaks.
Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, Howard Donald of Take That and Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls got the event, which was free and a gift to the local community, started with high-energy DJ sets of 90s and 00s hits in honour of the centre's 30-year legacy.
With a purpose-built stage, golden circle access for team members and local charity partners and a VIP meet-and-greet for a lucky few, the night was a heartfelt thank-you to the shoppers, staff and supporters who have been part of the outlet's journey since it first opened in 1995.

Kenny Murray, General Manager at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, said: 'We promised something special, and the reaction from the crowd said it all.
'The Sugababes were the perfect surprise to mark this milestone and having Howard and Kimberly on the decks as well certainly made it a night to remember.
'This was about celebrating both our community and our customers, and the incredible journey we've been on together over the last three decades.'
The 30th anniversary celebrations will continue throughout the year, with more surprises still to come as the site, which at 400,000 square feet and 165+ resident brands, is the largest designer outlet in the UK, continues to pay tribute to and celebrate its storied past.

Oasis fans aren't feral animals and you should stop sneering
To listen to some of the talk surrounding the gigs one would think that Oasis fans are a mass zombie sleeper cell, ready to turn feral the second they hear the opening chords to 'Rock N Roll Star', transforming the genteel streets of Ormidale Terrace and Kingsburgh Road into a scene from 28 Years Later in the process. Read More: You can see much of the same sneering in the differing approaches to rugby fans attending matches at the stadium and the treatment of football supporters. Rugby fans heading along to watch Scotland at Murrayfield are at liberty to indulge in a few cans of lager or a couple of glasses of wine on the bus up, and to enjoy further libations as they watch the match. Do the same on the way to Tynecastle to watch Hearts and you're likely to find your bus raided by the police and your cargo confiscated, and your only chance of getting tipsy in the stadium is inhaling the fumes from the nearby North British Distillery. Yet despite the dire warnings when the band played to 120,000 people across two nights in Cardiff to open the tour there were five arrests. The last time they visited Murrayfield, in 2009, there were nine. In 2011 Take That played eight shows at the Etihad Stadium, home to the Gallaghers' beloved Manchester City, and there were 30 arrests and 100 people taken to casualty, leading British Transport Police to issue a warning for everyone to behave themselves ahead of their Hampden run on the same tour. There was no such pearl clutching when Take That had their big reunion with Robbie Williams and came to Scotland, so why the doomsaying over Oasis? Could it be because their fans are, largely, working class men? When it comes to the music, too, there's a sniffy attitude toward the band which perhaps reveals more than those doing said sniffing would care to admit. Of course, it's perfectly possible and entirely reasonable to dislike Oasis' music on the basis of its merits. Saying you find them dull or derivative doesn't make you classist in itself, but you do have to wonder if descriptors like 'plodding', 'unsophisticated', or indeed 'the English Rock Defence League' would have been levelled at the band had they produced the same music but come from a background like Thom Yorke or Damon Albarn's. Liam Gallagher on stage in Cardiff (Image: Jordan Pettitt) If you can't see the beauty in Noel's simple-yet-spinetingling guitar solo on 'Live Forever' or Liam's plaintive one-take vocal on 'Slide Away' then, I'm sorry, there really is no helping you. If you think songs like 'Rock N Roll Star' or 'Bring It On Down' have nothing to say about class or politics, then frankly you've failed at basic textual analysis. Derivative? Sure, sometimes. But so what? Noel Gallagher may have lifted the riff to 'Cigarettes and Alcohol' wholesale from T-Rex (he admits as much himself) but Marc Bolan nicked it from 12-bar blues anyway. The vocal melody for 'Shakermaker' is just 'I'd Like To Teach the World to Sing'? Oh no, won't someone think of the poor advertising executives? All music is, to one extent or another, derivative – there are only 12 notes in western music, there are only so many combinations into which they can be put. There's a reason Oasis connect with fans young and old in a way their more critically well-regarded peers do not. In their songs, in their look, in their attitude they reflect their audience back at them. Noel and Liam may be a long way from signing on in Manchester, and there's no defending the pricing fiasco which ripped off thousands of those same loyal fans, but those songs are de facto national anthems because of what they mean to people. The Pitchfork and Mercury musos can have Radiohead singing about an ancient oak tree in Wiltshire if they want, it's never going to move anyone the way Oasis do. As Noel once said of the current set's anthemic closer 'Champagne Supernova': 'I'll sometimes be playing it and find myself thinking, 'what the f***is this all about?' And I should know, because I wrote it. Then I'll look up and see a sea of teenage lads all with their tops off on each other's shoulders, singing the words of a nonsensical song by a band that broke up when they were two years old and I think… 'that's what it f****ng means'.' So let me make a prediction: when Oasis come to Edinburgh, some people will get a bit too drunk. Some may even pee in a garden or get in a silly fight. The vast majority will have a great time either reliving their youth or seeing for the first time a band they grew to love at a time when it seemed the Gallaghers would never play together again. Stop sneering and let them, it's really not worth the aggra-va-shee-un.

Myleene Klass reveals she 'helped save a stranger's life' at Brighton Pride
Myleene Klass revealed she helped save a stranger's life while volunteering for St John Ambulance at Brighton Pride this weekend Myleene Klass revealed she helped save a stranger's life while volunteering for St John Ambulance at Brighton Pride this weekend. The former Hear'Say singer took to her Instagram page to share the story after explaining she chose to volunteer because she "can and I have little eyes watching me". "I am the official SJA ambassador, not just in name but in action. I tell my children daily, a person is who they show you they are, not who they say they are. Walk the walk," she said in a post before further diving into the details of the events that unfolded over the weekend. She said a man became critically ill during the headline set by Sugababes at Preston Park. The star was part of a first response unit and was asked to perform a 'jaw thrust' movement to clear the patient's airways. It comes after reports Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set for new 'goldmine' offer - but could face issue. It involves lifting the lower jaw forward, displacing the jaw forward, and lifting the tongue away from the back of the throat. "You can probably hear the Sugababes are on in the background, and I've just helped save a life," she explained. "It was honestly awe-inspiring seeing how St John Ambulance operated. We have doctors and paramedics. Everyone is here. Everyone just did their bit." The starm who became St John Ambulance's first celebrity ambassador in 2024, went on to say: "I cannot divulge what happened with the patient, what the circumstances are but what I can say is I am utterly blown away and just to have been a small part of it as well. "I actually just had to do the procedure that is known as a jaw thrust - that gives you an indication as to how serious the scenario was. The patient is on their way to the hospital right now.' Myleene also gave a shout out to the paramedics and staff at pride. She wrote: "To the SJA team, you are exceptional. You said afterwards you were 'just doing your jobs' but as SJA volunteers, that's not entirely true. "You were following a calling on your 'day off' which saved a life and immeasurable heartache for the patient's family and friends. Being part of the team meant I saw it happen in real time. "Quickly, yet calmly. I couldn't be more proud to be a part of it. To event organisers thinking of 'cost cutting' on first aid, remember, first aid isn't important until you need it, then it's fundamental. "SJA has trauma doctors, paramedics, experienced personal with over 50 years in the field. What it also has is heart and dignity for patients. "The head of our team was a specialist paediatrician and her leadership and kindness (she sings to her patients when they get scared) really got to me."

It was in my house. 'It was my party. They weren't having sex, but they were unzipping each other. '[They said] 'It's not what you think', but it is what I think. It's the first thing they both said. 'I kicked everybody out of the party, including his mum and dad. They went back to Ireland. 'And his dad said, 'He doesn't get it from me'. I was like, 'OK'. I just remember that being quite a weird thing to say.' Myleene, who received an honour from the King, admitted she struggled to see the woman continuing as normal after the run-in, explaining: 'I've made peace with that situation now. 'But for a long time, it was very difficult to see their life . . . Not that I would wish that on a family. I don't know, I feel conflicted. This is the person I caught him with.' The I'm A Celebrity icon met Graham when she was in Hear'Say and he was working as part of the band's security team.
