A decades-old photo of Julian McMahon and his Charmed co-star Shannen Doherty has resurfaced in the wake of his death, and it points to a tragic coincidence.
Julian - who starred in Nip/Tuck and FBI: Most Wanted - died last week, aged 56, after a private health battle with cancer.
Meanwhile, Shannen lost her own battle with breast cancer last year.
Both were in their 50s when they died in the month of July.
'Shannen Doherty and Julian McMahon from Charmed both dying from cancer in July almost a year from each other is so wild. May they both rest in peace,' one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter, alongside the photo.

'This is so devastating. Talented, beautiful, beloved and iconic actors of 90s/2000s. and we lost them way too young. rest in peace, Julian McMahon and Shannen Doherty.'
Another fan poetically wrote: 'Shannen and Julian fought the biggest demon of all … cancer.'
The Charmed alumni both starred in the hit early 2000 series for three years, with Shannen playing Prue Halliwell and Julian playing half-demon Cole Turner.
They also starred in 2001 thriller flick Another Day, where they played love interests.
That same year, the pair dated for a brief stint, however their romance was short-lived.
On Friday, Julian's wife revealed in a heartbreaking statement that the Aussie star had passed away after secretly battling cancer.
His wife said : 'With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer.'
Julian's last public appearance was alongside Nicolas Cage at SXSW in Austin, Texas back in March, as he looked thin promoting psychological thriller The Surfer.
Kelly - whom he married in 2014 - continued by expressing the love Julian had for his fans and those around him and what being an actor meant to him during his life.
'Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible.
'We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories,' she added in her statement obtained by Deadline.

90s heartthrob reveals how he went from partying in Hollywood to being 'a coked-up empty soul, smoking crack in a skip with a homeless lady'

A 90s heartthrob has revealed how he went from partying in Hollywood to being 'a coked-up empty soul, smoking crack in a skip with a homeless lady.' In his new memoir, Anthony Kavanagh, who rose to fame under the name Kavana, has lifted the lid on the darker side of stardom with his explosive autobiography, Pop Scars. He found success at the age of just 16-years-old with a series of hit singles such as I Can Make You Feel Good and Special Kind of Something in the late 1990s. But he has now revealed the personal cost of fame after he battled both alcohol and drug addiction which ended up 'emptying his wallet' and leaving him homeless. Born in Manchester, Kavana was signed to a record label in his teens and soon found himself partying with popstars and touring with Boyzone. Writing in his memoir, in quotes obtained by The Sun, the singer admitted he soon found himself not knowing when to 'call it a night' and 'hitting the hard stuff.' After many cocaine fuelled nights, he recalled one at the Playboy mansion, and admitted: 'I did too much coke and had to be hosed down in a gold shower room by one of Mr Hefner's Playboy bunnies.' Kavana said at the height of his fame he would party in the 'Hollywood Hills at movie producers' houses, necking ecstasy in hot tubs with A-listers.' However, things took a turn for the worst, describing his last binge, he admitted: 'It culminated in me doing crack in a skip with a homeless lady who I bonded with then trusted with my Monzo card to go buy more drugs and who never returned.' Kavana's drink and drug problem drained his wallet and ultimately led to him 'secretly living in an old people's sheltered housing complex with his mother.' MailOnline has contacted Anthony Kavanagh's representative for comment. Back in 2017, the singer promised that he'd write a revealing memoir about his time in the music industry. He told Attitude magazine: 'I am very excited about it. It's more of a memoir, I'll save the autobiography for when I'm older. 'It'll be warts [and all] and recalls what was happening back in the pop industry back in the 90s and when I went to live in Hollywood. 'There are some really outrageous stories that most people wouldn't know about. Yes, people should be afraid…very afraid.' But he has now revealed the personal cost of fame after he battled both alcohol and drug addiction which ended up 'emptying his wallet' and leaving him homeless And the former pop idol appears to be relishing the build-up as he took to his Instagram page on May 14 to tease fans with a glimpse of what's to come. He posted a snap of the cover of his book, featuring a imagine of the star at the height of his success. Anthony penned: 'Can't believe I'm saying this but I actually wrote a book. Like by myself, like those grown ups do. POP SCARS covers all things 90s pop but more importantly what happens AFTER fame.' The star continued: 'It's about teenage fame, loss, addiction and hope, and how not to iron a white Kappa tracksuit. 'It's been described as 'Laugh out loud, jaw dropping, and heartfelt' but you can decide that. 'Come join the ride with me. More news to come. This is for the underdog.' After his pop career wrapped up, Anthony kept busy in the public eye, starring in Hollyoaks: In The City in 2006 and later competing as a finalist on the TV show Greece Is the Word in 2007. He also took part in Celebrity Big Brother in 2017, where he finished seventh. As for his personal life, Anthony shocked fans as he shared a swollen photo of himself at the peak of his alcohol addiction. The star has been sober for nearly three years and has been incredibly open about his struggles with addiction and his journey to recovery. And the artist admitted he was 'lost, broken and hopeless' during his crippling addiction. He wrote: 'On #addictionawarenessweek I want to make anyone struggling aware that recovery is possible. 20 months ago I was lost, broken and hopeless. 'Ask for help, I'm so glad I did. #Wedorecover #Noshame #addiction #youcandoit'. The former pop idol appears to be relishing the build-up as he took to his Instagram page on May 14 to tease fans with a glimpse of what's to come in The singer documented his 2022 entry into rehab after sadly relapsing a year earlier. In February 2022, he took to Twitter to apologise to his family for not being 'truthful' as he admitted that alcoholism had 'got a grip on him' in an emotional post. He spoke of his 'mental struggles', before signing off social media for the foreseeable future. The statement read: 'Today I go into rehab. Again. This illness of Alcoholism has got its grip. I'll be off social media for a while. 'To what family I have left, I'm sorry I wasn't truthful I've been going through a lot of mental struggles. Good news I'm going to get the help I need. 'My phone will be off for a while. Clint, Aunty Angela, Aunty Maria, Brad, I'm going to be OK and I love you all madly x.'

Model Jessica Hart looks glum as she packs her belongings into a storage unit - after ugly split from her race car driver fiancé James Kirkham

Jessica Hart tried to go incognito in Los Angeles on Friday as she was spotted looking glum while moving some of her belongings into a storage facility. The model, 39, appeared to be moving out of the Hollywood Hills home she shared with her race car driver fiancé James Kirkham following their split earlier this year. She arrived at the site in the same $368,000 Mercedes-AMG G-Class she was spotted having a row with James in earlier this year. The blonde beauty wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty as she helped a mystery man unload his truck, which contained a various array of household items. Jess kept her outfit casual for the occasion, opting for form-fitting black tights and a matching tank top as she hid her face beneath a cap. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. At one point, she opted for a brown camo jacket and tucked her tresses behind a pair of designer glasses. She was also spotted taking a break to drink some water while her companion unloaded some heavier items from his car. But it wasn't long before Jess got back to work, carrying some large items of her own which she protected with bed sheets. Jess also loaded smaller items and boxes onto a large trolley to transport through the facility. It comes after news the Australian model's high-octane romance with her American race car driver fiancé seems to have well and truly burned out. Following an almighty row inside their $368,000 Mercedes-AMG G-Class earlier this year, Daily Mail Australia obtained photos showing the fallout. NASCAR speedster James, who shares two children with Jess, let himself into a luxury villa located a suburb away from the couple's Hollywood Hills home. A day earlier the Aussie Victoria's Secret stunner stepped out without her engagement ring, looking visibly distraught as she took a phone call. Jess almost married Greek shipping scion Stavros Niarchos III before bonding with tattooed single-father James over their shared love of fast cars in 2019. She accepted his proposal at her baby shower for their first child. Weeks later their daughter Baby-Rae Kirkham was born, and seven months after that, Jess revealed she was pregnant with son Glorious, born in February 2022. But since then the glamorous couple's six-year romance appears to have run out of fuel. The pair have unfollowed each other on Instagram, and had not been pictured together since the US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, in October—until exclusive photos of their confrontation emerged. During the row, Jess looked visibly concerned during an intense phone conversation as she walked through a parking lot wearing a long sleeve Saint Michael tee and carrying a lavender bag by former Céline creative director Phoebe Philo. Her ringless finger was on display during the emotional conversation, and after hanging up was escorted to her own vehicle by a valet parking attendant. Jess then drove off without him, prompting him to run after the car. 'James caught up with Jessica's car and she stopped again and he got in the front passenger seat,' an eyewitness told us. 'They argued for another 20 minutes then James got out of the car again and ran towards the house.' While it's unclear what the couple was arguing about, a cursory glance of their Instagram accounts suggested their relationship could be in serious trouble. Jess and James no longer appear on each other's followers' lists, which either means they've unfollowed each other, or gone a step further and hit the block button. They have also been mysteriously absent from each other's Instagram grids in recent months. The couple first started dating in early 2019 after Jess joined Mercedes-Benz's AMG Academy, which helps to train motoring enthusiasts how to race, and was immediately drawn to the NASCAR star. Romance soon blossomed and they announced they were expecting their first child together in September 2020. Just a month later, James got down on one knee and proposed to the Victoria's Secret model at their baby shower. Weeks after that, they welcomed their daughter, Baby-Rae Kirkham, on November 17. Their child's name made headlines at the time. Jess explained it came from Jennifer Grey's character 'Baby' from the 1987 film Dirty Dancing. Her middle name, Rae, was a nod to Jessica's mother. Seven months later, the blonde revealed she was pregnant again and their son Glorious was born on February 2, 2022. Jessica, whose sister is model Ash Hart, was also a stepmother to James' nine-year-old daughter, Wren, from a previous relationship. Before meeting James, the Vogue cover girl had dated fellow Australian Nicolas Potts, with whom she appeared in the first season of the MTV reality show The City. She was also in a relationship with Stavros Niarchos III, the grandson of Stavros Niarchos, the Greek billionaire shipping tycoon best known for being the arch-rival of Aristotle Onassis, from 2011 to 2017.
