GRIMES COUNTY, Texas (FOX 44) – George Coulam, better known as 'King George' of the Texas Renaissance Festival, was found dead on Wednesday morning.
Law enforcement has confirmed with FOX 44 News that Coulam was found dead at his home in Todd Mission. An investigation into the death is underway.
This comes after Coulam was ordered to sell his kingdom earlier this month after a lengthy legal dispute. A Grimes County judge upheld the sale of the property and ordered its assets and land to change hands following a failed $60 million deal.
The Texas Renaissance Festival is known as an event which transports visitors into the magic and splendor of the Renaissance era. According to the official event website, it is the largest and most acclaimed Renaissance-themed attraction in the United States.
This is a developing story. FOX 44 News will have more information as it becomes available.

Powerball jackpot hit; numbers, winners in Pennsylvania

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — The $204.5 million Powerball jackpot was hit, but unfortunately, it wasn't in Pennsylvania — though several people won money in the Commonwealth. The huge $204.5 million jackpot was hit, once again, in California. This resets the Powerball jackpot to $20 for Monday's drawing (June 2). Winning Numbers: 01 29 37 56 68Powerball: 13 Power Play: 02 Double Play Winning Numbers: 34 44 61 64 68Powerball: 19 While in Pennsylvania, no one won over $100,000, one ticket sold is worth a cool $50,000. While it's unknown where it was sold, as the lottery only reports winners of $100,000 or more, the ticket did match four of the five numbers and the Powerball. If they had Power Play active (02), it would have been worth $100,000. According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, more than 35,000 also won between $4 and $500. According to Powerball officials, two tickets worth $2 million were sold in Florida and New Hampshire — matching all five regular balls with Power Play Monday's Powerball is reset to $20 million, Tuesday's Mega Millions (June 3) is worth an estimated $202 million.
