A family-friendly music festival is set to return to Leeds this summer.
The Baby Band Music Festival will be held at Lotherton Hall on Sunday, July 20, from 11am to 6pm.
The festival will feature live bands, an artisan market, street food, and various activities.
Performers include Apollo Soul, the Yorkshire Tea Party Band, Hyde Family Jam, and Louis, Louis, Louis.
Children can engage in dance workshops, the forest school, circus skills sessions, and a drumming experience, as well as spectating live magician performances.
The artisan market will offer handmade goods from local crafters, and food from vendors including Philly's Pizza and 7 Star Flag Street Food.
Baby Band, which provides music classes for preschool children, was established in 2021 by Peter and Charlotte Hill as a passion project.
The organisation has locations in North and West Yorkshire and Manchester, with plans to expand nationally in 2026.
Tickets to the Baby Band Music Festival can be purchased at babyband.co.uk.

DC Casts Lead Actor in Highly Anticipated New Superhero Film

DC Casts Lead Actor in Highly Anticipated New Superhero Film originally appeared on Parade. As more and more details are released surrounding DC's upcoming slew of projects, the company has confirmed the casting of Welsh actor Tom Rhys Harries in the title role of 2026's upcoming Clayface film. The casting comes as something of a surprise for most fans of the famed comic book company. Rather than opting for an easily recognizable name among viewers, the 32-year-old Harries is more readily known for roles in short-lived series like Apple TV+'s Suspicion and Netflix's White Lines. According to Deadline, Harries was selected over several equally talented young actors from the United Kingdom, including The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes' Tom Blyth, Sinners' Jack O'Connell and 1917's George MacKay. The film will be directed by James Watkins of Speak No Evil fame, with Doctor Sleep filmmaker Mike Flanagan and Drive writer Hossein Amini providing various iterations of Clayface's script. In contrast to most other superhero films, Clayface exists as something of a rarity in mainstream comic book fandom. Rather than focusing on a well-known character like Batman or Wonder Woman, the film will instead follow the Dark Knight's comparatively lesser-known villain Clayface, a B-movie character who transforms into a horrific shape-shifting monster. Rather than existing as a straightforward villains' origin story, the film will instead act as an R-rated body horror film similar to 1986's The Fly or The Substance, as reported by SlashFilm. Further details surrounding the film have yet to be released, but the film is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on September 11, 2026. Clayface will follow in the footsteps of its fellow buzz-worthy DCU release, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which will debut in theaters on June 26 next year. Filming is expected to take place later this year in October, with further details likely to be announced by DC in the coming months. DC Casts Lead Actor in Highly Anticipated New Superhero Film first appeared on Parade on Jun 17, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jun 17, 2025, where it first appeared.

Chelsea fixtures: the big games from Blues' calendar this season

It's a confusing moment today for Chelsea fans, who have turned their attention to the Club World Cup, only to this morning get the Premier League fixtures for next season announced. You can secure the best tickets to Chelsea's 2025/26 Fixtures Here! Advertisement As always, the most fun games to look at are the opening game, the closing game, and the Christmas games. The opener Chelsea group shot after Cole Palmer's opening goal. (Photo by Darren Walsh/Chelsea FC) Usually the opening game is a big deal because you get to see all your shiny new transfer toys in action for the first time. The magic has been spoiled a little by the setup of this summer – we've already seen Liam Delap and Dario Essugo in the CWC. But there will be more exciting additions to look out for by the time we face Crystal Palace on Sunday 17th August. That won't be easy, but at least it's not Liverpool or Man City as we've had the last two years. Festive fun Last year we had a tough Christmas run, where things really started to fall apart for a while, and we're hoping that this time things will be a little kinder. If you want to buy tickets, now is the time to do it. The closer Last season was a perfect example of a season ending game which wouldn't have attracted any attention whatsoever at the time it was announced, which ended up being the biggest game of all. Advertisement Nobody would have predicted that we would have been playing off with Nottingham Forest for Champions League football on the final day, but there we were. Seasons very rarely have so much on the line down to the final game, but if the league is as competitive as it was last season, maybe it will happen more regularly. This time we've got Sunderland away – it's very hard to know how they'll be getting on, but the bookies would say they're odds on to already be relegated by then.
