COPS have launched a fresh appeal three years after a "frightening" rape that saw a 16-year-old girl attacked.
The teenager was raped in a wooded area between Hampson Park and Lonsdale Road in Stevenage sometime between noon and 1pm on May 30 2022.
Officers are determined to get justice for the victim despite years passing since the horrific attack.
An e-fit image was released at the time of a man who might have had information.
Detectives are hopeful that he can still be found and are re-releasing the image to try and find him.
The fresh appeal was specifically released today to mark three years since the rape happened.
DC Lauren Eifert, from the constabulary's Sexual Offences Investigation Team (SOIT), said: 'This was a frightening ordeal for the victim and we never give up on cases like this.
'We want to find the suspect and bring him to justice.
'The man in the e-fit is believed to have important information about the incident and I am asking the public to once again take a look and get in touch if you recognise him.
'It's also not too late to get in touch if you think you have information yourself about the incident.
"Please make contact if you think you can help.'
