Viu announces its biggest Ramadan line-up to date
With an unprecedented 10 Arabic series, Viu is delivering a mix of drama and comedy, including exclusive Egyptian and Levant titles alongside Gulf productions. The expanded selection highlights Viu's commitment to high-quality entertainment and reinforces its growing influence on Ramadan viewing trends across the region.
This year's slate features the highly anticipated Fahd el Batal (فهد البطل), starring Ahmad Al Awadi, the lead actor from the 2024 Egyptian hit Haq Arab (حق عرب). The line-up also includes Hesbet Omry (حسبة عمري) and Al Halanji (الحلنجي), as well as O'obal O'ndokom (عقبال عندكم), Layali Roxy (ليالي روكسي), Woleda Li Yamout (ولد ليموت), 30 Halaqa (٣٠ حلقة), Rose (روز) and Solo (صولو).
'This Ramadan marks a pivotal moment for Viu in MENA as we introduce our most extensive line-up yet,' said Samer Majzoub, General Manager of Viu MENA. 'Over the past months, our pre-Ramadan programming has provided valuable insights into what resonates with our viewers, enabling us to curate a collection that solidifies Viu as the prime destination for Arabic content. We're excited to bring this diverse mix of entertainment to digital streaming.'
