Gaza Health Ministry: 18 Dead in 24 Hours from Starvation in 'Silent Massacre'

Saba Yemen2 days ago
Gaza – Saba:
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that 18 people have died in the past 24 hours due to starvation, a result of the ongoing blockade imposed by the Israeli occupation forces.
In a brief statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry said that starvation in Gaza has so far claimed the lives of 86 people—76 of them children and 10 adults—due to hunger and malnutrition, describing the death toll as a 'silent massacre.'
The ministry held the Israeli occupation and the international community fully responsible for this tragedy, and called for the immediate opening of crossings to allow the entry of food and medicine.

Hamas: Zionist Enemy's abduction of Dr. Al-Hams is escalation in targeting Gaza's Medical Sector

Gaza – SABA: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the Zionist enemy's abduction of Dr. Marwan Al-Hams, director of field hospitals in the Gaza Strip, calling it a continuation of the systematic criminal targeting of the medical sector and its personnel—through killing, arrest, or intimidation. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Hamas denounced the Israeli forces for kidnapping Dr. Al-Hams and opening fire directly on the ambulance transporting him and his companions during his visit to a field hospital affiliated with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Rafah City. Hamas held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for his life, along with the lives of hundreds of detained medical professionals held under inhumane conditions. The movement called on the international community and its institutions—particularly the International Committee of the Red Cross and the World Health Organization—to condemn this crime, pressure for the release of detained doctors, and confront the genocidal war that continues to target all aspects of life in Gaza. Gaza Health Ministry condemns Israeli enemy's abduction of Abu Youssef Al-Najjar hospital director

Gaza - Saba: The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip condemned the abduction of Dr. Marwan Al-Hams, Director of Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital and spokesperson for the ministry, by Israeli enemy soldiers on Monday in the southern Gaza Strip. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry described the crime as a dangerous precedent and a direct attack on patients, the starving, and the oppressed in Gaza. The ministry stated, "This cowardly act, which targeted one of the most prominent humanitarian and medical voices exposing the suffering of children dying from hunger, the pain of the wounded deprived of medicine, and the cries of mothers at hospital gates, reflects a deliberate intent to silence the truth and conceal the suffering of an entire people enduring the most horrific health and humanitarian catastrophe." It held the Israeli enemy fully responsible for Dr. Al-Hams' safety and demanded his immediate and unconditional release. Local sources reported that Israeli forces kidnapped Dr. Al-Hams, injuring an ambulance driver accompanying him near the Red Cross field hospital in southern Gaza. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
