Brand House Collective, Inc., the store's parent company, announced in a recent press release that it would celebrate the grand opening of its first Bed Bath & Beyond Home location in Nashville on Friday. The grand opening comes more than two years after Bed Bath & Beyond filed for bankruptcy protection in April 2023 after shuttering more than 230 stores — about half of all its locations — nationwide, according to a report in Today.'We're proud to reintroduce one of retail's most iconic names with the launch of Bed Bath & Beyond Home, beautifully reimagined for how families gather at home today,' the Brand House Collective CEO Amy Sullivan said. 'This isn't just a store, it's a fresh start for a brand that means something special to so many families.' The brand's name was initially purchased by Overstock.com after it filed for Chapter 11 protection in 2023 and shut all physical locations. It turned into an online store and app, selling furniture, rugs and other household items. This opening will be the retailer's first brick-and-mortar store since 2023, when Bed Bath & Beyond filed for bankruptcy.

The strategic partnership was formed to launch a series of smaller-format "neighborhood" Bed Bath & Beyond stores nationwide.To celebrate the grand opening of its new Nashville store, The Brand House Collective announced the return of the beloved Bed Bath & Beyond coupon. The billionaire Elon Musk is quietly pumping the brakes on his plans to start a political party, according to people with knowledge of his plans. Musk has told allies that he wants to focus his attention on his companies and is reluctant to alienate powerful Republicans by starting a third party that could siphon off GOP voters. Musk's posture marks a shift from early last month, when he said he would form what he called the America Party to represent U.S. voters who are unhappy with the two major political parties. As he has considered launching a party, the Tesla chief executive officer has been focused in part on maintaining ties with Vice President JD Vance, who is widely seen as a potential heir to the MAGA political movement. Musk has stayed in touch with Vance in recent weeks, and he has acknowledged to associates that if he goes ahead with forming a political party, he would damage his relationship with the vice president, the people said. Musk and his associates have told people close to him that he is considering using some of his vast financial resources to back Vance if he decides to run for president in 2028, some of the people said. Musk spent close to $300 million to support Trump and other Republicans in the 2024 election. Musk's allies said he hasn't formally ruled out creating a new party and could change his mind as the midterm elections near. But Musk and his team haven't engaged with many prominent individuals who have voiced support for the idea of a new party or could be a crucial resource to help it get off the ground, including by assisting with getting on the ballot in crucial states. His associates canceled a late-July call with an outside group that specializes in organizing third-party campaigns, according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter. Shakti scheme creates world record for most women travelled
Karnataka Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy on Monday said the state's Shakti Yojana guarantee scheme has set a world record for the largest number of women passengers travelling on public transport. 'Between June 11, 2023 and July 20, 500 crore women passengers travelled on ticketed journeys,' said the minister. US-based Golden Book of World Record (GBWR) is an Exclusive International Book of Records that aims to give a platform to people or organisations to have their name in the 'golden pages of history'. The minister thanked Karnataka State Regional Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), North West Karnataka Road Transport and Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporations for the historic achievement. 'The hard work, dedication and honest service of all the staff is commendable. The cooperation of the labour leaders cannot be forgotten as well,' he added. According to him, in the two years of Shakti Yojana, 5,800 new buses were added to the transport corporations, as well as 10,000 new recruitments were made. He also said the Karnataka government has pumped in Rs 2,000 crore to pay off loans. Reddy also cited 'Beyond Free Rides' Sustainable Mobility Network's study conducted on free bus travel for women in cities and said the number of female employees has increased by 23 per cent in Bengaluru and 21 per cent in Hubli-Dharwad due to Shakti Yojana. The minister said this has led to an increase in the per capita income of the state.
