Three cities in Georgia have made the list of top 25 cities in the U.S. to start a business, highlighting the state's growing entrepreneurial landscape.
The WalletHub study analyzed 1,334 cities across three key dimensions:
Business environment
Access to resources
Business costs
Cities were selected based on population size, ranging from 25,000 to 100,000 residents. See the three cities ranked in Georgia.
LaGrange, in west-central GA, secured a notable position, ranking No. 10 overall. Here were other rankings:

The company says on its website that it receives thousands of requests from people who have visited their stores for the first time or moved to a place without Wegmans for the company to build a location in their town. However, the company says it only builds "two or three new stores each year." Here's where the company is opening new locations in 2025, including two this summer. Where are new Wegmans stores opening in 2025 and beyond? Wegmans announced in December 2024 that it would be opening three new stores in 2025: Lake Grove, New York: Opened on February 26 Opened on February 26 Rockville, Maryland: Opening on June 25 Opening on June 25 Norwalk, Connecticut: Opening on July 26 The Lake Grove store is the company's first location on Long Island, according to a news release, while the Norwalk location will be the chain's first store in Connecticut.
