A schoolboy cyclist has died after being hit by a car.
Police say the 11-year-old suffered serious injuries and died at the scene of the crash in Cheshire.
It happened on Booth Lane in Middlewich, near to its junction with Tetton Lane, on 28 April, just before 2.15pm.
The crash involved a black Fiesta ST and a pedal cyclist. Cheshire Police say the "occupants of the Fiesta have been arrested" and the young cyclist's family are being supported by specialist officers.
Sergeant Simon Degg said: 'This is an incredibly sad incident in which a young boy has lost his life. Our thoughts remain with his family and friends at this difficult time.
'We would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident and hasn't already spoken to police to get in touch with us.
"The same goes for anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam footage, which could aid our enquiries."

The driver, 47-year-old Glen Brady, of Tan Y Briach, North Wales, was handed a suspended prison sentence and banned from the road for 18 months. ‌ Police have now released footage of the collision, which happened on December 17 last year. ‌ It shows Brady driving onto the pavement and knocking over the pedestrian while he said he was "distracted by his sat nav". Brady pleaded guilty to dangerous driving at a hearing at Crewe Magistrates' Court and received a 24-week jail term, which was suspended for 12 months. Article continues below The moment a pedestrian was sent flying after a distracted truck driver crashed into her PC James Shrimpton, from Cheshire Police's roads and crime team, said: "I hope this case makes other motorists think very carefully about their actions behind the wheel and that they should be aware that when they get in a vehicle, they have the potential to cause real damage and even take a life. "You have not only your life in your hands but other road users and this needs to be remembered every time you make that journey. ‌ "The pedestrian involved in this collision was discharged the same day and was very lucky to come away with only minor injuries. "Due to the nature of Glen Brady's driving and the sheer size of the vehicle itself, we could have quite easily been dealing with a much more serious, or even fatal, injuries. "We think of sat navs as devices designed to assist us with our driving and whist it is true that they are very helpful in getting us from A to B, they can be a source of distraction – especially if you are unfamiliar with the area you're driving in. A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a woman died after a services were called to a collision between a Range Rover Velar and a Vauxhall Corsa on the A45, Holmes Chapel Road, in Sproston, Cheshire, at about 17:30 GMT on 12 Chadwick, 52, who was driving the Corsa, was injured and died in hospital on 13 December, Cheshire Police Boulton, 36, of Essington Way, Stoke-on-Trent, was charged with causing death by dangerous driving, dangerous driving and drink driving. A man who admitted dealing drugs from his prison cell can be seen on police footage being arrested moments after he was released from jail for his previous crimes. Samuel Watts, 34, from Northwich, was handcuffed as he left HMP Kirkham, near Preston, on 21 November last year just after he finished serving a sentence for supplying cocaine and cannabis and possessing a faced Burnley Crown Court on Thursday where he was jailed for a further four years and four the police footage, the arresting Cheshire Police officer can be heard telling Watts he was being arrested in relation to a phone that had been found on him in prison, saying: "I know it's not ideal news." Watts admitted supplying cocaine from his jail cell after police found a phone strapped to his waist during a search, which contained messages showing he had continued to deal drugs from behind bars. PC Dan Lee, from Cheshire Police, said: "Hopefully this time he will use his time behind bars to reflect upon his actions rather than trying to set up another business venture."
