The Gin Spa, located on Virginia Court in Merchant City, has shut it doors leaving customers with vouchers and bookings for the spa disappointed.
A message on the spa's website reads: "Gin Spa has now closed it's doors.
"We'd like to offer our sincere thanks to all of our customers over the years.
"Further information will follow as soon as possible."

(Image: ginspa.co.uk) The business is also listed as "permanently closed" on Google.
Gin Spa Limited has gone into liquidation according to Companies House with the commencement of winding up dated as Tuesday, May 20.
However, customers say the spa had been selling vouchers via itison and taking bookings on its website up until the closure.
They are now trying to get refunds but have been struggling to get a response from the spa.

In a thread shared on Reddit, one person commented: "I bought two vouchers from them just a couple of weeks ago, what a f*****g scam."
A second person agreed: "Same here , bought from them directly… I'm raging."
Some people also commented on the spa's most recent Instagram post from May 11.
One person wrote: "My friend and I were gifted a £240 voucher for our 40ths that we were booked in to use on Saturday before being cancelled at the last minute.
"I'm hoping it can be claimed back if it was paid for on a credit card."
Another said: "So sad that you continued to advertise and sell vouchers right until you ghosted everyone.
"Now you announce you've closed."
The Gin Spa first opened its doors in 2017, offering a range of spa treatments and was originally partnered with specialist bar Gin71 which closed last year.
We previously reported the spa was bought over by new owners in 2022 and was closed to undergo a £300,000 investment before reopening in November of that year.
The makeover included a new subterranean spa pace which tripled the capacity of the spa and included eight new treatment rooms.
Gin Spa and itison have been contacted for comment.

Wirtz's back-up option emerges after angry response to Liverpool demand claims

Florian Wirtz continues to be linked with a move to Liverpool but spoke out on the most recent rumours about a potential switch to Anfield and appears to have put one firmly to bed Florian Wirtz appears to have been forced into a rethink after speaking out on a potential move to Liverpool. The Bayer Leverkusen star has been strongly linked with a switch to the Premier League champions in recent weeks. It has been suggested that Liverpool would be willing to pay a British transfer record to sign him, with the German having also given his approval to a transfer. Meanwhile, it was also reported that Wirtz had even gone as far as picking out the number he would don on Merseyside. ‌ The playmaker was apparently keen on the number 10 shirt despite the fact that Argentina star Alexis Mac Allister currently owns said number. Wirtz, however, took to Instagram on Tuesday to scotch those claims. ‌ He wrote: 'Who says I want the 10. I respect players. Don't believe everything what's written,' alongside a clown emoji. So with the number 10 shirt potentially off the table, Wirtz might now be looking at different options. 27 - the shirt he wore when breaking into the Bayer Leverkusen first-team - is currently vacant having previously been worn by Darwin Nunez. The number 7 could also be a surprise option should Luis Diaz leave the club amid reported interest from Saudi Arabia. Wirtz wore 7 for his Germany debut. He has also worn 17 on his more recent call-ups but that belongs to Curtis Jones. Regardless of the shirt number he wears at Anfield, Liverpool have already been told that they will be gaining a 'proper number 10' should they get a deal for Wirtz over the line. Speaking about his abilities, his Bayer Leverkusen teammate Nathan Tella said: 'You can see the ability every time he gets on the ball. He's one of those players in between the lines, he can dribble, he can create passes, he can score. 'For me as a forward he's great to play with. I'm happy that I've been able to play with him and I hope I can continue to still play with him.' ‌ He added: 'He's got so much talent, so much technical ability, he's got an eye for goal. He's just a brilliant, proper No. 10. Someone you should look forward to watching.' Wirtz is expected to be in action over the coming weeks as Germany navigate the Nations League finals. They take on Portugal in the first semi-final on Wednesday evening.

Florian Wirtz drops huge Liverpool hint in angry response to transfer claims

Florian Wirtz has taken to social media to deny reports that he has requested the No.10 shirt at Liverpool ahead of a potential club-record move to the Premier League champions Florian Wirtz has slammed speculation that he's eyeing the legendary No. 10 shirt at Liverpool - but the Bayer Leverkusen star has dropped a huge hint on his potential club-record move to Anfield. The Reds are making a splash this summer, engaging in discussions to bring the playmaker to Anfield - with his German employers reportedly holding out for €150million (£127m). Two bids have already been rejected and, while transfer talks progress, Wirtz appears eager to join the English giants. ‌ Sparking controversy, it was suggested earlier in the week that Wirtz desired the iconic No.10 shirt, currently donned by Alexis Mac Allister at Liverpool. With two seasons wearing the number at Bayer Leverkusen under his belt, the rumour mill implied he'd fancy a similar setup at Anfield. ‌ Yet, the 22-year-old has emphatically shut down such suggestions with a heated denial. Posting on Instagram, Wirtz shared a written message saying: "Who says I want the 10? I respect players. Don't believe everything what's written," accompanying his words with a clown emoji as if mocking the claims. His admission, however, does suggest that talks are still ongoing - and the player himself is aware of the speculation surrounding his future. Wirtz's potential claim on the shirt could have ruffled feathers, namely Mac Allister's, who was thrilled to snag the No.10 when he joined Liverpool a couple of years back. In past comments, Mac Allister acknowledged the weight of the number, saying: "I know how important the No 10 is in football. I had the possibility to take the No 8 as well, which is a big number for this club because of [Steven] Gerrard, of course." He then added, explaining his choice of shirt: "But I decided for No 10 because I used it a lot of times, in Argentina, in Brighton under-23s. It's a number I really like and that's why I chose it." The shirt number that Wirtz will don at Liverpool remains uncertain, should his anticipated move to Merseyside materialise. Negotiations are still ongoing at the club level, with Bayer Leverkusen reportedly holding out for a fee in the region of £127million. According to Sky Sports, Liverpool have already tabled an offer of around £105m. The report further suggests that Wirtz is keen on joining the Reds, despite attracting interest from Manchester City and Bayern Munich. ‌ Earlier reports suggested that Wirtz was leaning towards Liverpool due to the prospect of more game time. Bild reported that he didn't receive any assurances from Bayern Munich regarding his role, which remained 'not finally resolved'. Bayern were allegedly planning to prioritise Jamal Musiala, who recently extended his contract, over Wirtz. This left Wirtz with a choice between Liverpool and Manchester City. During preliminary discussions, both clubs reportedly promised Wirtz 'a central role in attack', before he ultimately decided on Liverpool. With negotiations believed to be advancing behind closed doors, a resolution could be imminent.
