‘Sorry for Crying, here's a smile': Baby's adorable post-flight apology video melts hearts, sparks parenting debate

Time of India6 hours ago

In a world where airplane meltdowns and mid-air tantrums often go viral for all the wrong reasons, one tiny traveler has flipped the script — with a smile. Baby Ava, just 5 months old, has become an unlikely internet darling after a video of her "apologizing" to passengers post-flight melted millions of hearts online.
The clip, posted by her mother Hannah Chestnut on
Instagram
under the handle @themumcrew, was shot at the end of an 8-hour flight from London to Atlanta. It shows Hannah's husband, Joseph, holding little Ava at the aircraft's exit door as fellow fliers disembark — while Ava flashes innocent grins to each passing passenger.
'We told her she had to apologize to everyone face-to-face for what she put them through on the flight,' Chestnut jokingly captioned the clip, which has since clocked over 4 million views and thousands of impassioned comments.

In an interview with
Newsweek
, Chestnut clarified that Ava was actually very well-behaved during the transatlantic leg — the apology was purely for laughs. 'Ava kept smiling at all the other passengers as they got off the plane. So I decided to film it as her apologizing to all of them,' she said.
Ironically, the real drama unfolded after — during a connecting flight from Atlanta — when, according to Chestnut, Ava finally 'acted up.' Laughing at the twist, she added, 'That was the flight we actually should've filmed the video after.'

The Internet responds: Heartwarming, hilarious; or just too much?
The video quickly went viral, sparking a range of reactions, from warm admiration to annoyed skepticism. 'I would never be mad at that face,' one user gushed. 'It's a baby, they cry. It's one day out of your life. Grow up,' chimed another, defending the right of infants to, well, be infants.
Others, however, saw the moment as yet another instance of performative parenting. 'NOBODY cares about your baby. Let them board the plane without bothering people for social media attention,' a critical commenter posted. 'What is it with parents thinking everyone wants to look at their baby,' added another.
But Chestnut took the backlash in stride. 'It's been so fun to see the video go viral, and we never expected such a silly moment to reach so many people so quickly,' she said, unfazed by the mixed reactions.
Whether you see Ava's video as a wholesome snapshot of family life or just another viral stunt in the age of attention, there's no denying its cultural resonance. It taps into the age-old tension between frazzled parents and flight-weary passengers — while reminding us that sometimes, a baby's smile is all it takes to disarm even the most annoyed traveler.

Rebel Wilson's weight loss journey: How Pitch Perfect star overcame emotional eating and shed 80 pounds

Rebel Wilson's 80-lb weight loss journey has been anything but easy. Last year, the 45-year-old admitted to regaining around 30 pounds after an intense period of work and parenting. In a June 2024 Instagram post, the Pitch Perfect star admitted that the stress of balancing motherhood, film projects, and her memoir left her feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from her health goals. 'Working really hard has meant that, coz of all the stress, I've gained 14 kg (30 pounds)! It makes me feel bad about myself…it shouldn't…but it does,' she wrote at the time. Wilson first discussed her fluctuating weight and emotional eating in a People interview, where she revealed the deeper reasons behind her physical transformation and the challenges of maintaining it. A post shared by Rebel Wilson (@rebelwilson) ALSO READ: Rebel Wilson's secret to her weight loss was working out like a 'maniac'. Here's how many hours she worked out For Wilson, the journey began long before 2020. In her words, she was once an 'emotional eater,' consuming '3,000 calories most days,' mostly from carbs. 'I think I was emotional eating, and overeating at times, because I wasn't loving myself enough,' she told People in November 2020. The death of her father in 2013, she added, intensified her unhealthy relationship with food: 'I used food to numb my emotions,' she said. Over time, she shifted her focus. Rather than obsessing over the scale, she chose sustainable habits—moderate portions, a high-protein diet, and reframing how she approached food. 'Nothing is forbidden. I might eat half of what I used to eat before. And I'll have a burger, and a few fries, and then you feel fine,' she shared. In mid-2020, Wilson had declared a 'year of health,' taking advantage of a pause in her work schedule during the pandemic. 'I did do that thing, which I think a lot of people did, where I just ate ice cream and watched the news for a month,' she told People. But soon after, she committed to exercise and better eating. Despite her transformation, life after motherhood came with its own hurdles. 'Although I didn't give birth to her and I didn't need to lose any baby weight, I had just gained weight from the lack of sleep and from the change in my lifestyle,' Wilson told the Daily Mail in 2023. Between work, travel, and promoting her memoir Rebel Rising, Wilson said she lost sight of her health goals—but now she's ready to course-correct. As per People, in April 2025, she launched a personal 'six-week challenge,' telling fans, 'I really want to be a healthier version of me.' Wilson lost over 80 pounds between 2020 and 2022. She shared in June 2024 that she had regained around 30 pounds due to stress. A fertility doctor reportedly advised Wilson to improve her health before undergoing IVF. The conversation prompted her to prioritise her well-being. Yes, Rebel Wilson and fashion designer Ramona Agruma exchanged vows in Sardinia, Italy, on 28 September 2024.

Al Pacino Makes History, Becomes First Movie Star To Meet Pope Leo XIV

Robert Francis Prevost was elected as the new Pope. Al Pacino visited him, marking the first documented official audience between the first American pontiff and a film star. Hollywood legend Al Pacino recently made headlines due to a historic encounter at the Vatican. In a rare and momentous meeting, Pacino visited Pope Leo XIV, marking the first time a movie star has had an official audience with the newly elected pontiff. The visit was part of a special delegation connected to Maserati: The Brothers, an upcoming film in which Pacino plays businessman Vincenzo Vaccaro. The film's producer, Andrea Iervolino, shared a series of photographs on Instagram showing the actor and himself in conversation with the Pope. He captioned the post, 'Andrea Iervolino con il nuovo Papa Leone XIV (Andrea Iervolino with the new Pope Leo XIV)." According to a statement released to Variety, the meeting was arranged as a private audience for the film's team and offered more than just a photo opportunity. 'The meeting was a moment of profound spiritual and cultural inspiration, centered around shared values that lie at the heart of both the Catholic Church and the film: family unity, love, compassion and the importance of contributing to the common good," Iervolino shared. The statement also drew parallels between the Pope's messages and the themes explored in Maserati: The Brothers. 'These values, which Pope Leo XIV has consistently emphasised in his recent messages to the world, resonate deeply with the story of the Maserati brothers: a family whose legacy was built not only on innovation and excellence but on profound mutual respect, solidarity and a shared vision." Directed by Oscar-winner Bobby Moresco, the film boasts a stellar ensemble including Anthony Hopkins, Andy Garcia, Jessica Alba, Michele Morrone, and Salvatore Esposito. The project is currently being filmed in Italy and celebrates the enduring legacy of one of the automobile world's most iconic families. Alfredo James Pacino, born on April 25, 1940, is an acclaimed American actor whose powerful and emotionally charged performances have made him a cinematic legend. Celebrated for his commanding presence both on stage and in film, Pacino is often hailed as one of the greatest actors in the history of entertainment. With a career that has spanned over fifty years, he has amassed numerous prestigious awards and honours. First Published:

Will GTA 6 have multiple endings? (Here's why we think so)

(Image via Rockstar Games) GTA 6 is shaping up to be the most ambitious Rockstar game yet, and with two protagonists , fans are already cooking up wild theories. One of the hottest debates? Will GTA 6 have multiple endings for each character — Jason and Lucia? Here's what we know, what we expect, and what would just be next level if Rockstar actually pulls it off. Two Leads = Two Fates? GTA 6 is giving us Lucia Caminos, a former inmate who's not here to play games, and Jason Duval, a smooth ex-army dude with a sketchy past and soft spot for easy money. They're not just two sides of the same coin; they're wildly different people stuck in a high-stakes mess. That alone screams: "There's no way this ends the same for both." Think about it. In GTA 5, we had three characters and multiple endings based on your final choices. So it wouldn't be that wild if GTA 6 expanded on that idea, giving us different paths — maybe even different final missions — depending on who you play more, what choices you make, and how their relationship plays out. GTA 6 WILL PROBABLY HAVE 3 DIFFERENT ENDINGS !!! - GTA 6 NEWS TODAY What If You Have to Choose? Here's the spicy part. What if the game builds tension between Jason and Lucia until it boils over ? Like, maybe you have to choose who to side with in the end. Or worse… maybe one has to go. The trailers already hint that trust is shaky. 'If anything happens, I'm right behind you,' Jason says. But c'mon — in GTA, that could easily turn into a betrayal real quick. Rockstar loves gray morality. So, multiple endings where you pick who lives, who dies, or who takes the fall? Rockstar Has the Tools, Do They Have the Will? Rockstar knows how to do this. They nailed the 'choice-based ending' thing back in GTA 5, and Red Dead Redemption 2 showed they can pull off emotional, complex storylines like it's nothing. So will GTA 6 give us multiple endings for Jason and Lucia? We don't know for sure, but the setup is too perfect for them not to. And honestly? We're here for it. Give us heartbreak, betrayal, wild choices, and everything in between. Just don't give us one boring 'The End' screen after 60 hours of chaos. We want options. We want consequences. We want to cry a little. Rockstar, don't let us down.
