Defending champions Italy, featuring world number nine Jasmine Paolini, will face hosts China led by Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen when the Billie Jean King Cup finals kick off on September 16 in Shenzhen, tournament organisers said on Monday.
The tournament, traditionally held in November, was brought forward to September to align the premier women's team competition with the start of the WTA Tour's Asian swing.
World number 10 Paula Badosa will be in action on September 17 when Spain face Ukraine in the second quarter-final. The United States play Kazakhstan and Britain take on Japan in the remaining last-eight matches the next day.
The semi-finals will take place on the following two days, with the final set for September 21. REUTERS

"I felt much better today just from the start. I was pretty active, and I think probably the point where you realise you could have a shot was the top of the (Col de la) Madeleine when Jonas and Pogi came across, and we're still with them over the top of the summit," said O'Connor. Pogacar defended his crown with ice-cold precision, gaining 11 more seconds on Vingegaard and stretching his overall advantage to a commanding 4 minutes 26 seconds after taking second place. "Today was brutal. Maybe the hardest stage I've ever done in the Tour," admitted a drained Vingegaard after the finish. "We had a big plan, you saw it, but I couldn't take a second on Tadej. Up ahead, O'Connor sensed blood and struck with ruthless precision, leaving Einer Rubio gasping for air and balance with a savage attack 16 km from the line on the lung-busting 26.4-km Col de la Loze, soaring to 2,304 metres above sea level. Arsenal sign defender Mosquera from Valencia

Ter Stegen missed seven months after suffering a knee injury last year, which forced him to have surgery before making his return in May. "This time, the doctors believe about three months will be necessary as a precaution, to avoid any risks," said Ter Stegen, who has been at Barcelona since 2014, winning six LaLiga titles and a Champions League with the club.
