Jews fed up by ‘artificial meaningless words' from Jacinta Allan
'Nothing is more jarring to the ears of a Jewish person in this country than to hear a political leader or a leader say there is no place for antisemitism in this country,' Mr Burnie told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
'This is a formulated construct of artificial words with poor syntax that are essentially meaningless to the people that have been under consistent siege for the past 21-22 months.
'When is the immediacy of this matter going to come to the floor?'

Government will not ‘get into tit-for-tat' with Israel after, minister says
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lashing out at Anthony Albanese is a 'disappointing' but the government is 'not going to get into a tit-for-tat', a Labor minister says. Mr Netanyahu overnight called the Prime Minister a 'weak politician who betrayed Israel and abandoned Australia's Jews'. Housing Minister Clare O'Neil was the first senior government official to front media on Wednesday. She said the comments were uncalled for. 'Anthony Albanese is unfailingly polite in his dealings with international leaders and he strong stance as he is done here with this particular matter,' Ms O'Neil told Seven. 'We've got a really clear agenda here as we involve ourselves in this conflict involve ourselves in this conflict in the Middle East. 'We know that the Australian people want to see an end to senseless violence and killing and they particularly want to see an end to the forced starvation and killing of innocent to do with this conflict and the government is (working with) countries around the world like Canada, France and the UK to try bring that about.' She added that Mr Netanyahu 'has had similar things to say about other global leaders with whom he has a disagreement'. 'This kind of diplomacy is never effective and that's why the Australian government doesn't engage,' she said.

Netanyahu blasts Albanese for pouring ‘fuel on antisemitic fire' in scathing attack
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has penned an explosive letter to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, obtained by Sky News, accusing him of pouring 'fuel on antisemitic fire' by calling for recognition of a Palestinian state. The Israeli Prime Minister criticised the Labor government for mishandling antisemitism in Australia, saying: 'Following Hamas's savage attack on the people of Israel on October 7, 2023, pro-Hamas extremists and left-wing radicals began a campaign of intimidation, vandalism, and violence against Jews across the free world. In Australia, that campaign has intensified under your watch.' Mr Netanyahu also called upon Mr Albanese to 'replace weakness with action'.
