Iran says it will resume talks in the coming days with UN nuclear watchdog
He did not say when exactly the meeting would take place, nor did he name a location.
Iran suspended cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in July, accusing the organization of failing to condemn Israeli and US attacks on the country's nuclear facility in the prior month.
Israel attacked Iran on June 13, bombing targets across the country in what the government said were pre-emptive strikes to prevent the Islamic Republic from building a nuclear bomb.
After 12 days of war, during which the US dropped its most powerful conventional weapons on key Iranian nuclear sites, a ceasefire is now in place. (DPA)

Hamas approves latest Gaza ceasefire proposal
DOHA: Hamas has informed mediators that it has approved the latest Gaza ceasefire proposal and is ready to resume negotiations after Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held talks with Egyptian President HE Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to discuss ending Israel's war on Gaza. A Hamas source told Al Jazeera : 'We informed the mediators of our approval of their proposal, which was presented yesterday.' Mediators were expected to announce that an agreement had been reached and set a date for the resumption of talks. There has been no immediate response from the Israeli government about the development. Hamas's announcement follows efforts by Qatar and Egypt to rekindle negotiations, which have so far failed to secure a lasting ceasefire in the war. 'El-Sisi and the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar stressed the importance of efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza,' according to a statement by the Egyptian presidency on Monday. The two leaders 'affirmed their rejection of the reoccupation of the Gaza Strip and the displacement of Palestinians', it said. They also insisted that establishing a Palestinian state is 'the path to peace'. Egypt, Qatar and the United States have been mediating between Israel and Hamas since the beginning of the war in Gaza, which has killed 62,000 Palestinians, more than half of them women and children.

Moscow rejects deployment of NATO troops
Moscow:Russia has once again categorically rejected the deployment of troops from NATO countries in Ukraine amid US-led efforts to end the war. The United Kingdom has repeatedly suggested the possibility that foreign troops could be sent to Ukraine once peace is reached. Bur the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said in Moscow that Britain was continuing to seek what she called 'an escalation' in the conflict with such scenarios and was pushing NATO members to a dangerous limit. She was reacting to statements by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer saying he was prepared to deploy such troops.'We reiterate our repeatedly expressed position that we deny any scenarios that envisage the deployment of a military contingent to Ukraine with the participation of NATO states, which could lead to an uncontrollable escalation of the conflict with unpredictable consequences,' Zakharova added.
