The well-liked JBL Charge 5 just got a whole lot cheaper at Walmart

Phone Arena2 days ago

Have you been waiting for a solid discount on the JBL Charge 5? Well, now's the ideal time to buy one, as long as you grab it at Walmart. The unit is available with a tempting $63 discount in its Teal variant, making it one of the best value-for-money options you can get right now.
$117
$179 95 $63 off (35%)
Walmart slashed 35% off the JBL Charge 5, making it an unmissable deal for music lovers. This speaker has a durable design, excellent sound, and now that it's way cheaper than usual, it's a top pick you shouldn't ignore. Buy at Walmart If you recall, Woot also had a solid sale on the same unit some time ago. But like most of its promos, it expired quickly and hasn't returned since. Meanwhile, Amazon offers a more modest 22% markdown on the Charge 5, clearly making Walmart's bargain your best bet if you want to upgrade your listening experience and score a top deal. But what makes the JBL Charge 5 such a high-appeal Bluetooth speaker ? For starters, it's ultra-rugged and has an IP67 rating, meaning you can take it anywhere without worrying about dust or water damage. Beyond that, the unit gets sufficiently loud and provides room-filling sound with solid bass that can take any gathering to the next level. On top of that, as its name suggests, the Charge 5 packs a built-in powerbank, letting you charge devices while streaming so you never miss a beat. Speaking of devices, you can connect this bad boy to two phones, tablets, etc., simultaneously — a welcome extra many will appreciate. Battery life isn't half bad, either, with the JBL speaker going strong for up to 20 hours per charge. Keep in mind that listening at max volumes might diminish the overall playtime.
If there's anything this fella doesn't have, it's a built-in mic. But let's face it: how many of us use Bluetooth speakers for phone calls? We wouldn't call that a dealbreaker but to each their own.
Don't mind the lack of a built-in mic? In that case, we suggest you hurry up and grab the $179.95 speaker for only $117 with Walmart's latest sale. After all, it might not stay up for long.

Motorola Razr 2025/Razr 60 in for review

Say hello to the Motorola Razr 2025, the "entry-level" folding phone from Moto for the North American market that is known as Motorola Razr 60 elsewhere. But there's nothing entry-level about the way this one looks and feels. Shipping in four unique PANTONE colors with different finishes, the Razr 2025 costs $700 and is available in a single 8/256GB configuration. The box includes a USB cable. You get a choice of the PANTONE Gibraltar Sea with a nylon finish on the back, PANTONE Spring Bud and Parfait Pink with a leather finish, and our Lightest Sky, which has an acetate finish. It's a unique-feeling finish and has a bright, pearl-esque color that matches it nicely. A sort of pearlescent finish on the back Paired with the soft, rounded edges, the Razr 2025 is very pleasant in the hand and stands out, even in this least impressive color we have. For some time now, Motorola has understood that a phone is more than specs and features. Moto phones are among the prettiest around, especially in their clamshell folding lineup. Given that Motorola truly made the form factor fashionable back in the day, it's no surprise the company is leading the same revolution these days, too. On a similar note, the Razr 2025 is IP48 rated for some dust protection and full water protection. Motorola Razr 2025 Looks aside, the Razr 2025 is more than well-specced for its price. It has a 3.6-inch 90Hz cover AMOLED screen, a 4nm Dimensity 7400X SoC, and a dual camera system with a 50MP 25mm f/1.7 wide angle camera, and a 13MP ultrawide. There's also a 32MP selfie on the inside. Speaking of, the folding display is a plentiful 6.9-inch 120Hz LTPO panel. The phone feels snappy and responsive. It ships with Android 15 under Motorola's very stock Android experience. Capping things off, there's a 4,500mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. That's around 200mAh less than the Razr 60 Ultra, but that phone tips the scales at 199g, whereas this Razr is a more manageable 188g.

Discover Samsung Summer sale in the US drops Galaxy S25 and Tab S10 prices

Samsung US's annual summer sale is live this week and has offers on all Samsung products until June 8 (Sunday). We focused on the Galaxy section of the store, of course, and here is what we found. Smartphones All four members of the Galaxy S25 family have effectively the same promo – a free storage upgrade and trade-in credit up to different amounts (depending on the model). The new Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge tops out at 512GB, so that's the only variant available. You can also get up to $630 off by sending in an old phone. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has 512GB and 1TB variants with the prices of the tier below. The trade-in credit is the same as the Edge. By the way, check out Amazon US's Father's Day deals – there is an S25 Ultra for $1,000. The Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ have just the one storage upgrade – to 256GB and to 512GB, respectively. Wearables The deals for the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch7 are slightly different – you get a straight discount if you choose the no trade-in option or you can do a trade-in. There's also the Galaxy Ring, which can be used instead of or in addition to a Galaxy Watch. This one only has a trade-in deal. Samsung Galaxy Ring up to $150 trade-in Read our review Tablets The tablet deals are structured similarly to the watches – you get either a straight discount or a trade-in deal. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is an exception to that as you get $400 off with no trade-in or $200 off plus the value of your old device. The Galaxy Tab S10+ is an either/or deal. There are also the more affordable Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ and Tab S10 FE. Laptops The Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro is a lightweight 14' laptop (2.71lbs). It has a 2,880 x 1,800px OLED touch screen and is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V with Arc 140V graphics. Instead of x86, you can go with ARM – the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge is powered by a Snapdragon X Plus (X1P-42-100, 8 cores) or X Elite (X1E-84-100, 12 cores) chipset. This one weighs 3.26lbs. We may get a commission from qualifying sales.
