Iraq's Mosul receives remains of 22 Yazidi victims of ISIS
On Tuesday, the remains of 22 Yazidis killed by ISIS in Sinjar were returned to Mosul, in northern Iraq, years after being buried in mass graves.
A security source told Shafaq News the remains had been transferred earlier to Baghdad for DNA testing to confirm the victims' identities before being brought back to Mosul's Forensic Department for handover to their families and completion of legal procedures.
More than 80 mass graves have been documented in Sinjar, holding victims of ISIS's 2014 assault on the district, which left thousands of Yazidis dead or abducted.

Iraqi court issues warrant against former MP
Shafaq News – Baghdad An Iraqi court issued an arrest warrant for former lawmaker Mohammed al-Daini on charges of insulting the Shiite community and unlawfully seizing properties, MP Mustafa Jabbbar Sanad confirmed on Sunday. In a video posted on Facebook, Sanad explained that the warrant followed al-Daini's refusal to appear before the judiciary, resulting in the detention of his guarantors. Iran: Five militants killed in Sistan-Baluchestan raids
Shafaq News – Tehran On Sunday, Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) dismantled two militant cells in Sistan-Baluchestan, killing five men accused of preparing suicide attacks. In a statement, the IRGC-affiliated Quds base said its forces raided two safehouses, seizing 25 kilograms of explosives along with several devices ready for use.
