The poster's text declares: "The jihadi media workers must put their efforts to perfect the ways of incitement and knock on the hearts of Muslims" to convince them of "the eternal [bliss] of being killed for the sake of Allah." It adds: "Just like the mujahid never leaves his weapon in battle, so should the inciter for jihad possess the tools to support him in his mission, and develop himself and learn the ways to fulfill his blessed mission, [since] because of that the jihad continues …"

Who was Salah al-Jubouri, the ISIS financier killed in Syria
Shafaq News – Idlib Salah Nouman Abd Nayef al-Jubouri, a senior ISIS figure responsible for the group's finances and logistics across Iraq and Syria, was killed in a joint operation in northwestern Syria. Considered the fifth most important ISIS leader in Syria, al-Jubouri was known by several aliases, including 'Muhanad,' 'Abu Walid,' and 'Abu Saleh.' He had served as treasurer for ISIS's Iraq office and acted as a liaison with its Syria branch. A security source told Shafaq News that Al-Jubouri managed the movement of recruits from Iraq into Syria, Lebanon, and Turkiye. He also oversaw the group's financial schemes and the purchase of equipment such as Maverick drone parts and night-vision devices for smaller ISIS cells. Beyond financial operations, he coordinated plans to attack religious sites and specific individuals in cooperation with ISIS's Syrian branch. His role placed him among the organization's most wanted operatives, with an Iraqi investigative judge issuing an arrest warrant against him. His career ended at dawn on Wednesday when a joint force supported by Iraqi intelligence, the US-led Global Coalition, and Syrian security units launched a raid in the town of Atmeh, north of Idlib. During the assault, al-Jubouri attempted to flee through a balcony into a garden but was killed. Joint forces later searched the house, confiscated electronic devices, and withdrew without casualties or arrests. His body was transferred to Bab al-Hawa hospital.

Israel's war on Gaza destroys sports sector, kills stars
Shafaq News – Gaza The Palestinian Football Association said Israel has destroyed 264 sports facilities in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war, leaving the territory's sporting life in ruins. Of those, 184 were completely demolished and 81 partially damaged. One of the most prominent victims was former Palestinian national team footballer Suleiman al-Obaid, widely known as 'the Pele of Palestine,' who was killed on August 6 while waiting for humanitarian aid. The association said in a statement that al-Obaid, 41, 'was martyred during an attack by occupation forces while waiting for humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip.' Born in Gaza, al-Obaid played 24 official matches for the national team, scoring twice, and was regarded as one of the brightest figures in Palestinian football history. He was also a father of five. The war has brought all sporting activity in Gaza to a halt since October 2023. The destruction of facilities, combined with the killing of athletes and coaches, has left the sector almost entirely paralyzed. Despite this, international sports federations have not suspended Israel's membership. The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said in a statement that 'the refusal of international and continental sports federations to suspend Israel's membership, 22 months after its perpetration of genocide in the Gaza Strip, constitutes a blatant violation of the values and principles they claim to uphold. It reflects a selective, double-standard application of the rules governing the participation of states, clubs, and individuals in international and continental competitions, whether official or friendly.' Rights groups, including Amnesty International, describe the war in Gaza as a genocide. According to health authorities in the territory, more than 61,000 Palestinians have been killed.
