PREMIER LEAGUE icons Andrei Shevhenko and Gianfranco Zola are being joined by local hero Jim Leighton in the full list of VIPs taking part at the grand opening of the new Trump international golf course this morning.
As you might expect US President Donald Trump gets things under way at 10.45am - with his four ball including his son Eric - alongside two men you might know best these days from SkySports' golf commentary team, Rich Beem and Paul McGInley.

Irishman McGinley, of course, was also a four-time title winner on the European Tour and a winning Ryder Cup captain in 2014.
They're in the first four ball of the day - then it's the turn of two heroes from football, Aberdeen Gothenburg great Jim Leighton and Liverpool star Robbie Fowler.
Then at 11.12am, it's the turn of former Chelsea duo Zola and Shevchenko.
The Ukrainian and the Italian are joined by Scottish golf hero Stephen Gallagher and ambassador Warren Stephens, who is the current US ambassador to the UK.
Other golf stars taking part in the event include Kiwi Michael Campbell and France's Jean van de Velde, who memorably lost a three-shot lead on the last at the Open at Canoustie back in 1999, when he ended up in his bare feet in the Barry Burn.
The ex-pros and the celebrities were spotted using the practice range this morning with Don't You Want Me by the Human League being played over the Tannoy.
A huge saltire fluttered in the wind alongside the Star Spangled Banner - and there was a whiff of manure after a wind direction change too.

Lando Norris also hid his trophy from danger when the champagne spraying began on the podium, having broken the one won by Max Verstappen at the Hungarian Grand Prix in 2023 Lando Norris was never going to make the same mistake twice. Having held off team-mate Oscar Piastri to win the Hungarian Grand Prix, there was only one thing on his mind from even before he went up the steps to the podium. These days, because of a sponsorship agreement, the winner of a race signs a bottle of champagne and writes a little message on it. Norris took the opportunity to have a little bit of fun, writing: "Don't break the trophy!" It was a message to himself, having got himself in some bother a couple of years ago. He finished second in the 2023 edition of the Budapest race, but was the centre of attention during the podium ceremony when he accidentally knocked over the trophy won by race victor Max Verstappen. And on Sunday, he made sure he was not going to repeat that error. After the national anthems were played and the trophies were handed out, Norris made a beeline for his porcelain prize and placed it at the side of the podium, before returning to spray some champagne. It did not go unnoticed by fans. "He moved it so far away!" wrote one on social media, while several others noted that he had stopped to also remove team-mate Piastri's trophy out of harm's way before slamming his bottle on the ground to get the fizz flowing. The unfortunate 2023 incident had been a complete accident and Verstappen took it well, laughing on the podium when he noticed what had happened. But still, Norris was apologetic – perhaps aware of how much work had gone into its creation. Trophies handed out at the Hungarian GP are traditionally made out of porcelain and are painstakingly hand-painted by specialist artists. They were created by manufacturer Herend, took around six months to make and cost around £35,000. "I do want to apologise for it, it was never my intention to do such a thing," Norris later said. "I know how much it means to the Hungarians and it is part of their culture and so forth. Of course, I want to enjoy my time but it was never my intention to do such a thing. Enzo Maresca makes shock U-turn and tries to block Chelsea transfer
Enzo Maresca has held fresh talks with Christopher Nkunku in a bid to convince the misfiring Chelsea forward to stay at Stamford Bridge. Nkunku was expected to be sold by Chelsea following another disappointing season at the Premier League club. Chelsea spent £52m to sign Nkunku from RB Leipzig in 2023 but the France international missed most of his first season in west London through injury. Nkunku was back fit last season but still endured a disappointing campaign, contributing just three goals in the Premier League. Chelsea fans have been hugely underwhelmed by Nkunku's form at the club considering he was named the Bundesliga Player of the Season in 2021-22 and was the league's top goalscorer before his arrival. The Blues were open to offers for Nkunku during the January transfer window and were expected to cash in on the 27-year-old this summer. However, according to L'Equipe, Maresca recently held talks with Nkunku and made it clear that he could still be part of his project at Stamford Bridge. Maresca appreciates Nkunku's profile and knows squad depth will be needed as Chelsea look to challenge Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City for the title while competing in Europe. Russell Martin launches into extraordinary rant at Rangers players after first league game
Rangers put in an under-par display against Motherwell in their first game of the Scottish Premiership season as the home side snatched a late equaliser to deny the Gers an opening win Rangers boss Russell Martin launched a furious tirade at his players after starting off the Scottish Premiership season with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Motherwell, telling them to "drop their ego". The Gers took the lead through captain James Tavernier but put in a sluggish display and were lucky to keep the score a 1-0 until the end of the game, when Emmanuel Longelo scored a deserved equaliser in the 87th minute. There has been a lukewarm reception to Martin's appointment after he was sacked by Southampton last season prior to their relegation from the Premier League and his poor start will not have helped his cause. Rangers had previously secured their place in the next round of Champions League qualifying following a midweek victory over Panathinaikos, but Martin was fuming with his players' efforts on this occasion as he accused them of "jogging" against Motherwell and said there was a big "mentality" problem at the club. "I think we were lucky to get a point,' Martin said. "Motherwell played great, we were nowhere near where we need to be, I'm extremely disappointed and hurt by that. "I've said to the players … there is a default here at this football club, to revert to type,' Martin told Sky Sports. 'When it's going really well, everyone's all in … when it's not going well, you protect yourself a little bit, self-preservation. "You have to be all in, all the time. We had too many on the pitch today who just did what they wanted to do. When you want to just jog around, there's a big problem. "Some of them have to drop their ego. I'll look at us tactically and accept my responsibility but today wasn't really tactical, it was a mentality problem. We got more than we deserved today." Rangers have a huge task in front of them to catch rivals Celtic in the title race, having not won the Premiership since 2021 and Martin said he had to get to the bottom of why his side were making so many "crazy decisions" - and warned that some stars "wouldn't play very much" if they didn't up their game. 'Today, we go ahead and play some OK stuff," he said. "Every time we get in the final third, we turn the ball over and make crazy decisions. They're either selfish decisions or they're based on anxiety, so we need to get to the bottom of that. Because there was far too much stuff that we haven't worked on or haven't seen. 'It's not me digging them out. I take full responsibility for it. But that hurts me more than anything. Too much ego, too much self-preservation, and you're either all-in all the time or you're not. And if you're not, you just won't play very much." Rangers will quickly switch their attentions to a Champions League third qualifying round match against Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday, with Martin knowing a bad result will further pile pressure on his position.
