Caffè Panna and a Claw Clip: It's Already Summer for Kendall Jenner

Vogue04-05-2025

What's your flavour, Kendall Jenner?
As celebrities continue to flow into New York for the forthcoming Met Gala—we're basically t-minus 24 hours now—the parties and cocktail affairs are popping off across the city to get the energy going. Sabrina Carpenter and Anne Hathaway hit up a Versace affair in respective blue sparkles and monochromatic sharp suiting, while Harlem held a rager with Doechii, Law Roach, A$AP Rocky, and Tyler Mitchell putting on their party gear. Dua Lipa and boyfriend Callum Turner enjoyed an intimate date night out together, in contrasting bright whites (him) and sleek black leather (her, of course!).
Kendall Jenner, however, has kept it pretty chill this weekend. The model was photographed yesterday (Saturday May 3), joining friends at casual celeb hangout Bar Pitti in Greenwich Village, a spot she's usually found at with pal Hailey Bieber.

She cut a casual figure—likely to be in complete contrast to the look she has prepared to debut on the steps of the Met this coming Monday—wearing the go-to brands of the refined, elegant Kendall Jenner wardrobe. The model opted for a short beige suede Loewe jacket over a plain white t-shirt, black straight leg jeans (the current denim silhouette du jour of the off-duty model), and black calf-hair ballet flats by The Row. (Would you expect anything else?).
For accessories, she also toted a bag from The Row, and wore some silver hoops, a set of brown sunglasses, and a red claw clip to pull her hair into a chic French twist—the red color matching the ripple through her Caffè Panna gelato. She clutched several ice-cream cups from the iconic gelateria for her pals, and enjoyed her own scoops on some New York steps while the springtime sun went down. In Jenner's world, we're way past the First Monday of May—it's already summer.

Louis Vuitton's Saint-Tropez Restaurant Is Back With a Michelin Star

The Arnaud Donckele & Maxime Frédéric atLouis Vuittonrestaurant has set up shop at the White 1921 Saint-Tropez for the third consecutive year. This time, however, the bougie dining locale is back with a newly earned Michelin star. Chef Arnaud Donckele and chef pâtissier Maxime Frédéric have unveiled a seasonal menu guided by three pillars: international food, disruptive dishes, and cultural meals. The chefs, both of whom are from Normandy, place a special emphasis on French and Mediterranean cuisine, but international flavors contribute to the menu's travel-by-plate mentality. Among the best-rated dishes are the Wagyu beef, which is served in a seasoned broth, and the grilled blue lobster, which is dressed with shiso-infused sauce. The Louis Vuitton restaurant features all sorts of nods to the French megabrand's core identity, including trunk-shaped side tables, Monogram-inspired tableware from the 'Art de la Table' collection, and even desserts modeled after the label's signature shapes and motifs. The alfresco dining area is filled with white and blue sofas, which are enclosed by lush greenery decorated with logomanic flowers. The Arnaud Donckele & Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton restaurant is now open at Hotel White 1921 in Saint-Tropez, France, and reservations can be made on the brand's website. Take a look inside the restaurant in the gallery above.

Swan Ball 2025: Nashville brings glamorous gowns and gussied-up guests, see our best photos

It was with great anticipation that guests for the 63rd Annual Swan Ball arrived at Edwin Warner Park to enjoy an evening benefiting the Friends of Warner Parks, and they were not disappointed. Co-chairs Melanie Baker and Laura Niewold, working with Dori Thornton Waller of The Social Office, left no detail unattended. The doors to a stunning glass Atrium were opened by members of the Swan Ball Dance Committee as ladies in gowns and gentlemen in white tie and tailcoat suits were offered champagne or a favorite cocktail along with passed appetizers from Kristen Winston Catering. Guests perused the eclectic jewelry from Swan Ball Jeweler Sidney Garber, where the first Swan Award, presented to Swan Ball founder Jane Anderson Dudley in 1970, was on display. (I admit here that I was unaware of the significance of the extraordinary award and actually commented that the gold swan with emerald eyes was my favorite piece…who knew!) The park, visible through the glass tent, provided a perfect backdrop as the evening began to blossom. As the dinner bell rang, guests moved into the dining room, centered by a magnificent tree laden with various shades of pink cherry blossoms. The tables were adorned with pink and white linens and anchored in the center with elegant pink florals from Jim Knestrick/Knestrick by Design, bringing oohs and aahs. It was, well, just breathtaking!Guests were seated to a summer cheese plate of Delice de Bourgogne, strawberry preserves, berries, buttered pecans, butter lettuce, and greens served with a vinaigrette and toasted baguette. Swan Ball Initiative, Inc. co-chairs Kathryn Carell Brown and Elizabeth Litterer Nichols welcomed guests and presented the 2025 Swan Award to philanthropist, jewelry designer, and art patron Brooke Garber Neidich. Brown and Nichols also thanked co-chairs Melanie Baker and Laura Niewold for their dedication to the ball, presenting them with a gift of appreciation. The evening continued with a dinner of filet of beef with French fingerlings and corn sauté, asparagus, and sugar snaps in maître d'hôtel butter. Lawrence Wine Estates provided the wine pairings, a 2019 Burgess Burnside Road Chardonnay and a 2018 Burgess Contadina Cabernet Sauvignon. Profiteroles with vanilla ice cream and chocolate brandy sauce completed the meal. After dinner, guests headed to the dance floor as they awaited Grammy Award winner Patti LaBelle, and at age 81, she still has that golden voice. I must add here that I had the opportunity to see LaBelle, as they say, back in the day (circa 1983) when she was at the top of the Disco Charts. My friends, she still has it and did not disappoint! Following LaBelle's performance, Blue Rhythm took the stage, energizing the crowd as guests continued to dance into the early morning hours. The 63rd Annual Swan Ball, A Legacy Blossoms, brought Nashville's Spring Social Season to a close, with all the grandeur and elegance ball guests have enjoyed since 1962. While the venue and the beneficiary of the Swan Ball have changed, the Swan Ball remains the Grand Dame of Nashville's social scene. An ABC News Correspondent Was Suspended For A Trump Administration Tweet

If you're a regular ABC News viewer, you might not be seeing this guy — specifically, senior national correspondent Terry Moran — on your TV for a bit. Variety reports that Terry has been suspended from his position for a since-deleted tweet about US President Donald Trump's White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller. Related: Donald Trump's Apparent Baldness Is Going Viral In A New Photo Here's what the tweet reportedly said: "The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism. Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy." Related: Kylie Jenner's First Met Gala Dress Made Her Bleed, And 20 Other Red Carpet Looks That Took "Beauty Is Pain" Wayyyy Too Far "But that's not what's interesting about Miller. It's not brains. It's bile. Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He's a world-class hater." In a statement about Terry's tweet, an ABC News spokesperson said, 'ABC News stands for objectivity and impartiality in its news coverage and does not condone subjective personal attacks on others. The post does not reflect the views of ABC News and violated our standards — as a result, Terry Moran has been suspended pending further evaluation.' Just another day in Trump's America, I suppose!
