BREAKING NEWS Meghan reveals most intimate glimpse yet of Lilibet in adorable birthday tribute

Daily Mail3 days ago

Meghan Markle has paid a sweet tribute to Princess Lilbet as she turned four today.
Taking to Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex wished her daughter, who is named after the late queen, a happy birthday.
Lilibet is the youngest daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and was born in Santa Barbara after the couple quit royal life and moved to California.
Two snaps shared on social media showed the mother-of-two huddling together.
The pair also share Prince Archie, six, who was born at the Portland Hospital in London while the pair were working royals.
The sweet message comes just a day after the Duchess of Sussex revealed she is considering going into business with Lilibet in the future.
Meghan spoke during her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder about 'building something' with her youngest child, who is seventh in line to the throne and turns four tomorrow.
She made the comment while interviewing 71-year-old fashion designer Tina Knowles, who launched the haircare line Cécred with her daughter Beyoncé last year.
Meghan said in the podcast: 'I wonder if one day I'll be in business with Lili and we'll be building something.' Knowles added: 'Yeah, that's the best.'
Last week, Meghan shared a video of her and daughter Lilibet harvesting honey in matching beekeeping suits.
The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram on Tuesday to post the extended video set to The Archies' hit Sugar, Sugar in a sweet nod to her son, Archie, six.
Her caption read: 'Look at all of that fresh honeycomb!
'Harvesting honey with my little honey. (Like mother, like daughter; she's even wearing my gloves)'
Like her last post, the clip began with Meghan and Lilibet walking hand-in-hand towards a beehive while wearing appropriate safety suits.
It then cuts to Meghan cutting out a slice of honeycomb before storing it in a glass jar and pouring the freshly-harvested honey over it - not unlike the bottles of wildflower honey sold by her brand As Ever.
The original video included a rare glimpse of Lilibet's face after she could be seen turning towards her mother.
The pair wore matching outfits in a vast field, but Lilibet accessorised with a pair of adorable rainbow wellies.
They held hands and were filmed from the back walking towards the hive, before Meghan, 43, bent down and rubbed her daughter on the back.
Meghan posted the video just days after her seven-year wedding anniversary with Prince Harry.
She marked it by posting an image of a cork board covered in photographs of her, Prince Harry and their children.
However, royal fans noticed that Meghan left out a crucial detail about the milestone in her caption for the post.
The Duchess wrote: 'Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories.
'Thanks to all of you (whether by our side or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story - we appreciate you.
'Happy anniversary!'
Fans noticed the former Suits star failed to name Harry in the post.
Despite the post containing numerous photos of Meghan and Harry together, critics took to X, formerly Twitter, to discuss Meghan's caption.
The Sussexes, who stepped down as senior members of the British royal family in 2020, have strained relationships on both sides of the family, between Harry's estrangement from his brother and father and Meghan not on speaking terms with her father Thomas.
Instead, the couple have surrounded their young children with a 'chosen' Californian family to dote on them in their Montecito mansion.
Thousands of miles away from their aunt and uncle, the Prince and Princess of Wales - and grandfather King Charles - Archie and Lili are now growing up with a series of ' surrogate ' relatives after their parents rejected the royals.
Archie and Lilibet also have no relationship with any of the women on Meghan's side who could be called their aunts. Meghan has one half-sister, Samantha Markle, through her father Thomas Markle Snr's side - but has cut off ties with both of them.
The Duchess's half-brother Thomas Markle Jnr has been married twice, but Meghan has also had no relationship with him since well before she wed Prince Harry in 2018.
But it's not only the couple's young children who have forged a second family abroad - Prince Harry himself is said to have grown close both to a 'second father' in the form of David Foster and 'second mother' after his move to the US.
Harry has also formed a close relationship with Doria Ragland - with a royal source revealing that the Duke of Sussex has grown incredibly close to Doria, who has been a 'tower of strength' for the couple over the past few years.
In August, Meghan gushed about her daughter in a speech about 'Afro women and power' talk on the final day of her tour in Colombia with Prince Harry.
She said that Lilibet 'has found her voice and we are so proud of that' in the speech the Duchess also used to pay tribute to her mother.
Meghan said: 'For me I find inspiration in so many of the strong women around me. My mother being one of them. Life is full of surprises and can be quite complex.
'So much of how I approach things is about less of the fight and how do we wash things over with love and kindness and generosity.
'You see something wrong and you go and fix it. As women we are multi-taskers and fixers. We all know how much representation matters.'
The Duchess also said that as her mother, she is encouraging Lilibet to not 'sit in silence'.
'At three she has found her voice and we are so proud of that, because that is how we create the conditions in which there is a ripple effect of young girls and young women knowing that if someone else is encouraging them to use their voice and be heard, that's what they are going to do,' she added.

Tesla shares rebound slightly after $150bn wipe-out triggered by Musk's spat with Trump

Tesla shares were sent into freefall on Thursday after Elon Musk sounded off about Donald Trump and his policies on social media this week. The debacle saw roughly $150billion wiped from Tesla's market value in one of the worst days in months. While the electric car maker's share price tumbled 14 per cent on Thursday, it rebounded slightly on Friday following some indications tempers were cooling between the duo. Earlier this week, Trump threatened to cut off government contracts to Musk's businesses, including rocket firm SpaceX, which has contracts worth tens of billions of dollars with the US government. In response, Musk fired back and said: 'Go ahead, make my day.' The saga seemed to quieten somewhat on Friday as Musk broke his silence by agreeing with an X post that claimed he never attacked Trump personally. The initial feud was ignited over Musk's opposition to Trump's 'Big Beautiful Bill', before he launched into a series of attacks on the president and alleged he was 'in the Epstein files. Trump quickly branded Musk 'crazy' and said he has 'lost his mind'. The president also moved to sell his Tesla that he bought from Musk when their relationship was rosier in March, in a parting insult after saying he ousted Musk from his White House. US subsidies and contracts at Federal and state level are worth billions to Tesla, which also currently benefits from a $7,500 tax credit available for electric vehicle purchases. Tesla shares closed at $295.14 this week, down around 14 per cent on less than a week ago and down nearly a quarter on where they were six months ago. But the shares are still around 66 higher than they were a year ago. Tesla shares rose more than 60 per cent between the start of November when Trump was elected to the end of 2024. But investor pressure over Musk's controversial role in the White House ultimately led to him to stepping down from his unofficial 'DOGE' department, which had sparked protests and vandalism directed at Tesla. Tesla shares were on a run more recently, however, after Musk confirmed the group would be testing an autonomous, driverless 'robotaxi' service in Austin, Texas, this month. Russ Mould, investment director at AJ Bell, said this week: 'Tesla shareholders are stuck in the middle of the battle zone as whatever happens to Musk will act as a proxy for the car company's share price. 'Trump has signalled he could terminate US government contracts with Musk's companies, causing Tesla's share price to crash 14 per cent in a day.' He added: 'Musk's outspokenness is becoming a liability for Tesla shareholders. 'He recently pledged to stay on as CEO for at least another five years, but if he cannot be restrained from stoking fires on the public stage, Tesla's board might have to think long and hard about his future with the business.' Neil Wilson, UK investor strategist at Saxo Markets, said on Friday: 'I spoke almost a year ago to Mark Spiegel of Stanphyl Capital in New York. 'He said it was just a matter of time before Musk and Trump fell out – the only question was who would shaft who first but his view was that sooner or later everyone "gets Musked". 'An ugly, name-calling, chest-thumping public brawl on Twitter between the richest guy in the world and the most powerful guy in the world – it's what the platform was made for. 'It's also whacked Tesla stock as bulls need to reassess their upside case for the carmaker. 'Both probably realise that this is doing each of them a lot of harm – Musk could lose billions of dollars in government contracts and tax credits, while Trump could see his 'big beautiful bill' fail to pass.'

I wed a Nigerian toyboy 43 years my junior – people think I'm ‘crazy', call me his ‘grandma' & say he's with me for cash

A 68-YEAR-OLD woman has revealed that she said 'I Do' with her Nigerian toyboy, who is 43 years her junior. When Kay, 68, and Ablack, 25, first connected on Facebook, they had no idea that a simple social media like would lead to marriage. 4 4 4 4 But now, the couple have opened up on their unique relationship and explained how just three days after meeting in real life, Kay's toyboy popped the question. Revealing all to Truly, on an episode of Love Don't Judge, the couple admitted that they are constantly stared at in the street and Kay has even been accused of being Ablack's ' grandma '. Opening up about how their relationship first blossomed, Kay recognised: "He liked something I posted. He went from somebody who liked my post to my very best friend, I could tell him everything. It just kept getting stronger and stronger." After three failed marriages, Kay was initially 'very leery about being scammed ' by the youngster. Not only was the mother called 'crazy' by many, but before long, the couple had tied the knot, with Ablack being Kay's fourth husband. Despite falling in love, the couple constantly face judgement over their age gap, with Kay being 43 years older than Ablack. But Kay beamed: 'I do not feel old when I'm around him. I feel very young, like a teenager.' With Ablack based in Nigeria and Kay over in the US, the pair have had to make the relationship work with the geographical distance. However, Ablack knows that the pair are destined to be, as he acknowledged: "A prophet told me that I'm going to get married to a white woman and here she is.' But although destiny brought them together, not everyone agrees with their relationship, as Ablack said, "Some people say, 'she's old enough to be your mum '. Some say, 'you're married to your grandma', 'she's too old for you'. I'm 20 and my man is 63 - people say he looks like Shrek and I must be in it for the money, but I'd still love him if he was a cleaner 'Anywhere we go, people take pictures of us.' Not only this, but people have even accused Ablack of getting 'married for a US green card '. Clearly unfazed by the judgement, Kay, who is often referred to as Ablack's 'sugar mummy', said: "I've never felt love like this before. "This is the one I'm supposed to be with, I just had to wait a long time for him to be born. 'He treats me like a Queen. I'm his priority.' Scammers can be 'in love' too!' At the same time, someone else wrote: 'Hope she has a lot of money to feed his whole family, why else would a 25 year old be with a woman in her 60s.'
