Birdcall plans to open more fast-food joints in these Denver metro locations

Yahoo07-04-2025

DENVER (KDVR) — Birdcall, a popular Colorado fast-food joint, plans to open up several more locations across the Denver metro in the next few months.
After opening in the Five Points neighborhood in 2017, the franchise has been slowly growing across Colorado, Arizona and Texas, serving chicken sandwiches and tenders. Now, it's planning on expanding to three more metro locations, which will begin to open starting at the end of April.
Casa Bonita to open reservations for entire summer
The newest Birdcall location is set to open on April 21 in Fort Collins at 3300 S College Ave, #110, next to the Foothills shopping mall. The new location will have the Birdcall essentials, like patio seating, a full bar, arcade games and self-serve ordering kiosks, along with a few Colorado touches, like artwork from a Denver-based muralist.
The company isn't stopping at Fort Collins.
Birdcall said it plans to open as many as five to seven new restaurants over the next few years, including two locations in Centennial and Wheat Ridge. The company's website said the Centennial location is planning to open this summer, while the details for the Wheat Ridge location aren't listed on its website.
By 2028, the company said it wants to have as many as 200 locations nationwide.

So far, Birdcall has eight open locations in Colorado, including two in Boulder, Cherry Hills, Colorado Springs, Evans, Five Points, Belmar and Union Station.
Soon, another will open in Fort Collins where the first 50 guests in the door have a chance to win free chicken sandwiches for an entire year.

Nvidia (NVDA) Seeks Return to China with New B40 AI Chip

Nvidia (NVDA, Financials) is preparing to reenter China's AI data center market with a custom B40 processor, Shenzhen-based ZJK Industrial said Thursday. ZJK plans to begin mass production of the B40 chip as early as this month, aiming to meet growing demand for Nvidia's B40 project, according to a company news release. Warning! GuruFocus has detected 4 Warning Signs with NVDA. The B40 accelerator is based on Nvidia's Blackwell architecture and targets mid- to high-end Chinese customers. Nvidia has been unable to ship AI data center products to China since the U.S. government barred its H20 processor in early April. We are still evaluating our limited options. Until we settle on a new product design and receive approval from the U.S. government, we are effectively foreclosed from China's $50 billion data center market, an Nvidia spokesperson said. On Thursday, Nvidia shares fell 1.4 percent to $139.99 in New York trading. Meanwhile, ZJK Industrial stock jumped 12 percent to close at 5.40 in Shenzhen. ZJK, which supplies precision components for electronic and AI systems, said that B40 shipments could exceed one million units by year-end, complementing Nvidia's global RTX Pro 6000 workstation graphics cards. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang told analysts on a May 28 conference call that the company is exploring options to serve Chinese customers again. If the B40 design receives U.S. approval, Nvidia could regain access to China's lucrative data center market. For now, Chinese partners such as ZJK are taking the lead in adapting Nvidia's architecture to local regulations and demand. This article first appeared on GuruFocus.

Tactical Grooming Barbershop Wins a 2025 Best of Alabama Award

MADISON, AL, UNITED STATES, June 6, 2025 / / -- Most people have a backup plan for a bad haircut, but Tactical Grooming Barbershop makes sure you don't need one! This Madison-based business has built its reputation on sharp military-style cuts, hot towel straight razor shaves, and a smooth, efficient experience from start to finish. There are no unnecessary extras, no long waits… Just clean lines, good service, and a setup that respects your time! Founded in 2020 by Corey, a military veteran with a background in IT and leadership, Tactical Grooming Barbershop was built on discipline, attention to detail, and the belief that a great cut shouldn't feel like rolling the dice. While Corey designed and built the space, it's his wife, Krista Nixon, who brings it to life behind the chair. As the lead barber, Krista's precision and skill have earned the shop a loyal following. That commitment to quality extends beyond the chair, too—Tactical Grooming crafts its own line of all-natural beard products, like Redstone Beard Butter and Vanilla Coffee Beard Oil, made to keep things looking sharp between appointments. 'We're not trying to reinvent the wheel,' Corey says. 'We just want people to leave feeling confident and taken care of. We've got your six!' Earlier this year, Tactical Grooming opened a second location inside the Marshall Space Flight Center, giving even more North Alabama clients access to this go-to barbershop's signature approach. And now, the brand has expanded again—this time with a new women's salon, Classy Darlin' Salon, recently opened in Huntsville. It's a fresh chapter that brings the same focus on quality and care to a whole new clientele. Tactical Grooming Barbershop was also named a 2025 Best of Alabama Award winner—an honor based entirely on public votes and happy clients! Between the sharp cuts, the solid products, and the steady stream of regulars… Tactical Grooming has carved out a lane that's all its own.
