Sofia Richie Grainge's Designer Pink Jeans Dupe at Old Navy

Cosmopolitan21-05-2025

Sofia Richie Grainge's style rarely misses. I mean, her wedding wardrobe inspired the entire quiet luxury trend, and did you see her Met Gala dress earlier this month?? (Of course you did). Her latest 'fit is just further proof our girl's still got it.
On Wednesday, Sofia shared a carousel of photos from her daughter's first birthday party, and my eyes went straight to her laid-back, cool girl look. The kidswear designer—whose latest Amazon collection just dropped in April—paired her simple white knit tee with a western-inspired belt and the perfect powder pink baggy jean—a shade that just might give the butter yellow trend a run for its money this season. And while Grainge's exact Bottega Veneta denim style is nearly sold-out and, ahem, $950, we found a nearly identical style for just $27. A two-digit price tag versus three? We'll take it.
Old Navy is proving it's really that girl these days with the Extra High-Waisted Wide-Leg Jeans, which come in nearly every color, including a lookalike pastel pink. Much like the OG ones, they have a wide-leg design that's very on trend at the moment and an extra high-waisted fit for bonus leg-lengthening magic.
The jeans are crafted from 95% cotton that's soft, breathable, and has just enough give—so, ya know, the post-dinner unbuttoning isn't totally necessary. You don't have to take our word for it, though. Customers say they're "super flattering for petites" and are a "great fit" for curvy girls, too. A tall reviewer adds that they're even "long enough" for their 5'10 frame, while others describe the style as a "go-to piece in [their] jean rotation" and say they're "comfortable enough for all-day wear."
"I struggle finding jeans that fit me (even Abercrombie Curve Love) but these fit me perfectly!" a shopper chimed in.
While Sofia's designer jeans are pricey (to say the least), snag the Old Navy denim and pair it with a white knit top and coordinating belt for a full look under-$200. From my own sleuthing, I'm convinced she's wearing this $60 design from Mango and $88 Madewell belt. Thank us later, xoxo.

What to read this weekend: Vampires and more vampires

These are some recently released titles we think are worth adding to your reading list . This week, we read Hungerstone , a retelling of Sheridan Le Fanu's Carmilla, and EC Comics' first serialized miniseries, Blood Type. I was pretty late in getting to this one, as it's been on my list for a good while now, but I really can't think of a better time to have finally picked up this retelling of the original sapphic vampire story, Carmilla , than during Pride Month. And what a treat it is. Hungerstone is a gothic novel that follows Lenore, a woman who has been uprooted from London and moved to the British moorlands by her husband, Henry, to fulfill his career ambitions. Henry is… not the best, and Lenore could definitely do with some companionship. Then, in walks Carmilla. Cue the yearning and craving. Carmilla is actually brought in after a carriage accident to recover and overstays her welcome, making everyone in the house uncomfortable with her strange behaviors (wandering at night, forgoing food at mealtimes, etc). From the moment she arrives, Lenore can't stop thinking about her. Lenore is also having strange dreams, and girls in a nearby village soon begin catching a strange illness. This is all pretty familiar. There are some big differences between Hungerstone and the novella it's based on, though. Hungerstone further explores industrialization and the expectations and treatment of women in this time period. It delivers feminine rage and some really satisfying moments. $21 at Amazon Blood Type , by Corinna Bechko and Andrea Sorrentino, is the first serialized miniseries from EC Comics, an imprint known for its anthologies that made its comeback to publishing last summer after a decades-long hiatus. We first met the series' bloodthirsty vampiress Ada in the third issue of EC's Epitaphs of the Abyss, but she now has her own dedicated spinoff. Blood Type #1 is kind of the perfect start-of-summer horror read: a vampire who has been at sea feasting on sailors makes a stop on a vacation island and finds some other evil has already taken root there. It's bloody, the tone strikes the right balance of dark and humorous and it's overall a pretty good time. Well, not for everyone in the story (except Ada), but I'm certainly having fun. $5 at Amazon

Lerner on the Lawn returns

ELKHART — The free Lerner on the Lawn concert series is back this summer at Central Green with new energy and flare, Lerner Theatre officials said. It will also be on a different day of the week from the downtown ArtWalk this year. This is the fourth year The Lerner has hosted the free monthly concert series. The first Lerner on the Lawn will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 28, featuring EatDrinkBeHappy, a music project from Nashville-based songwriter and artist John Allan Miller. 'If you can imagine the kind of music that you'd like to hang out on the lake and listen to on a boat, maybe a yacht, I don't know, and come together with your friends, maybe have a little drink, and just relax,' said Jenna Brouillette, marketing and communications manager. 'And really enjoy the summer feeling that comes with the warm weather and the clear skies. That's the kind of event that we're looking forward to.' Like in previous years, the Lerner on the Lawn event will have food trucks along High Street, Brouillette said. The events will be sponsored by the city and the Elkhart County Convention and Visitor's Bureau. The events will coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Lerner Theatre and will be free to the public. In years past, the ArtWalk has occurred alongside the Lerner on the Lawn events, but this year the events will be separate. 'ArtWalk is being a little bit reimagined,' Brouillette said. 'It's being taken on by Elkhart Parks and Recreation, which we are super excited for them to continue Elkhart ArtWalk on Wednesdays this year.' ArtWalk will be held the last Wednesday each month through September starting June 25. By separating the events, Brouillette said, people have more opportunities to head downtown to see, eat and play. The vision was to bring ArtWalk back down to Main Street and showcase the businesses in downtown, Parks and Recreation Superintendent Jamison Czarnecki said. 'The goal is to take it back to its roots to where it was when it was first created,' Czarnecki said. 'Put it in around Main Street and then try to put as many artists as we can on Main Street, in and out the businesses, diversify the types of art that are out there that we're showcasing, and then have music throughout Main Street. It should be a fun event.' ArtWalk will also feature a large kids zone on the plaza led by the Tolson Center, Czarnecki said. The hope is to continue to make downtown vibrant with something to do for everyone, he said. More information about Lerner on the Lawn is available at or from The Lerner Theatre's Facebook page.
