Sofia Richie Grainge Is Loyal to This Drugstore Mascara
Sofia Richie Grainge likes to experiment when it comes to beauty. (Ask her how many products TikTok—or Billie Eilish—has made her try.) But when the beauty muse who brought back the bridal bun finds something that works, she's loyal. And that's why there's one drugstore gem she's so prone to gush over, she has to give a disclaimer: 'This is not an ad,' Richie tells Vogue while spilling her latest Beauty Secrets. Instead, the 26-year-old's ode to Maybelline Lash Sensational Full Fan Effect is something that comes from the heart, after lots of trial and error. 'I've tried every mascara,' she says. 'I don't know what is wrong with me, but this is the only mascara that works for me. Otherwise, I look insane, and my mascara's running down my face constantly. This stays on all day, all night, doesn't run.' And there's more: As the new mom swipes on her beloved mascara, she praises the way it fans out the lashes, lifts them, and gives them a dark but still natural-looking tint. Richie is also loyal to Anastasia Clear Brow Gel, which she's used for a decade, and she's still tight with the concealer that carried her through pregnancy-related hormonal acne. 'This is my girl,' she says, holding up a tube of Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealer. 'It's silky and gives me good coverage, but it's not replacing my skin. It's just enhancing it.' Sofia Richie Grainge and Husband Elliot Grainge Hilariously Reenact Coldplay Kiss Cam Drama
Sofia Richie Grainge and Elliot Grainge are poking fun at the Coldplay concert's viral kiss cam scandal. In a Sunday, July 20, TikTok, the couple smiled as Grainge, 31, placed his hands around Richie Grainge's waist while seemingly standing inside a stadium box. Within seconds, Richie Grainge, 26, spun out of his hold and covered her face in her hands as Grainge dropped to the floor. 'Stadiums…the land of privacy,' Richie Grainge, who tied the knot with Grainge in 2023, quipped in the caption of her upload. The audio was set to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin's viral reaction to the Jumbotron, where he said to the crowd on Wednesday, July 16, 'Whoa, look at these two. Alright, come on. You're OK. Oh, what? Either they're having an affair, or they're very shy. I'm not quite sure what to do. Holy s***. I hope we didn't do something bad.' @sofiagrainge Stadiums… the land of privacy ♬ original sound - Newsweek - Newsweek During the Wednesday concert, former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and employee Kristin Cabot were caught cozying up to one another on a kiss cam. When the Jumbotron displayed the pair at the Foxboro, Massachusetts, concert, Byron quickly dropped his arms from Cabot's waist and ducked from the cameras. Neither Andy, who is reportedly married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, nor Cabot have publicly addressed their relationship status. Us Weekly has reached out for comment. (Cabot was reportedly married to ex-husband Kenneth Thornby, but the New York Post reported that the duo divorced in 2022. Her current relationship status is unclear.) Us confirmed on Friday, July 18, that Andy was placed on leave from his position. The next day, he officially resigned from his role. Astronomer CEO Andy Byron's Coldplay Kiss Cam Scandal: What to Know 'Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met,' a spokesperson for Astronomer told Us in a Saturday, July 19, statement. 'Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.' The statement continued, 'Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI. While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not. We're continuing to do what we do best: helping our customers with their toughest data & AI problems.' Solve the daily Crossword

These viral Amazon mesh flats look like Alaïa, feel like comfort, and cost under $50
If you happen to be a fashion lover who spends (way too much) time scrolling through TikTok for chic outfit ideas, you've likely spotted the viral mesh maryjane flats on your For You page. Available for just $50 on Amazon in classic shades like black, white, light brown, and red, the affordable shoe is a formidable dupe for the luxe Alaïa Mesh Ballet Flats, which is, by comparison, a total splurge at $950. As far as FashionTok is concerned, the buzzy mesh flats are worth every penny as they're surprisingly comfortable, aligned with the current trends, and are all but made for the total "it girl." In the name of journalism, I've decided to wear the flats non-stop for a week to see if they live up to the hype. Spoiler: I was pleasantly surprised. And for more of our rigorously tested shoe coverage, see our articles on the best flats and the best ballet flats. We even have a roundup of the best ballet sneakers, our other favorite quirky shoe trend. The mesh flat trend In case you haven't heard, mesh ballet flats have quietly become one of fashion's most consistent shoe trends. And though it might have been easy to write them off as a one-off fad a couple of years ago, it seems like they're here to stay. We can thank Alaïa—a French fashion house beloved by celebrities—for launching the crystal-studded ballerina flats that quickly reached cult status. Since then, they've dropped countless iterations of the beloved shoe, including a more minimalistic Mary Jane sans any sparkle. A few celebs have rocked the iconic Alaïa shoe, including Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lawrence, and Sofia Richie Grainge. Elsa Hosk and Kourtney Kardashian Barker are a few other fashion-forward celebs who've worn similar mesh styles in recent months, cementing the low-key silhouette as one to watch. The viral Amazon mesh flats Although I'm obsessed with Sofia Richie Grainge's chic style, I personally can't seem to swipe my card for flats worth nearly $1,000. That's where Amazon comes in with a near-exact dupe from Amazon brand DOEYG that's priced at just $49.99. But are they worth the coin? If you live in a metropolitan area, you can get them on Prime with one-day shipping, which is a total plus. And straight out of the box, I'm pretty impressed. Not only are the shoes well-packaged, but they seem pretty high-quality at first glance. To the touch, the mesh seems to be made from a sturdier cord, while the patent black leather isn't too "plasticy" or cheap-looking and is backed with a smooth faux leather. What's more, the brown sole is slightly cushioned and flexible, which seems promising for comfort. How they feel over a week of non-stop wear As a newly post-partum mom, comfort is key — though at the same time, I still want to feel put-together when I'm out and about. Over the last week, my stomping grounds weren't all that exciting: the grocery store, Target, and going on family walks with our dog. But these flats were seamlessly incorporated into my more understated wardrobe. The backs of the mesh flats (that usually make my ankles cut open) were soft and flexible, so I didn't experience any issues there. Typically, I wear a size 7.5 shoe, and while the size does fit, I do wish I had purchased an 8 for a slightly more comfortable fit. Those with wide feet should be especially wary as the shoe is on the narrow side. That being said, after consistent wear, I did notice that they've begun to loosen and "break in" a bit, making me content with my initial size. As for tips on styling the total closet staple, I've noticed that they are commonly paired with oversized denim for an effortless, cool girl vibe. Throughout the summer months, however, I'll mostly be wearing them with a breezy sundress or a linen midi skirt to tap the still-rising "old money" aesthetic. The verdict: Are they worth it? Overall, the viral mesh flats are certifiably comfortable for chill strolls and made for casual (yet slightly elevated) wear. While I didn't have any issues throughout the week, I will say that I likely wouldn't reach for them for long days of walking as the cushion can feel a bit hard after a while — but I think the same can be said about most flats as they tend to have little-to-no support in the soles. I'm definitely happy with the $50 spent and can see myself wearing them throughout summer and the upcoming fall months. And even if they do completely wear out within that time (I mean, it is an inexpensive Amazon dupe), I wouldn't mind repurchasing come next summer — though I haven't seen any alarming wear-and-tear just yet. The bottom line If you, like me, can't justify spending nearly a thousand dollars on flats, I highly recommend picking up a pair of these shoes for your summertime wardrobe. Not only are they affordable by comparison, but they are comfortable for everyday wear and an eye-catching choice that fits both understated and dressy outfits. As for my recommendations? While they may be closer to true-to-size for those who have narrow feet, if you are a bit wider, sizing up a half or full size should do the trick. What's more, I may think twice before wearing them ahead of any hours-long walking tours in a bustling city on unforgiving concrete. To be honest, dupes have their place and will (usually) never beat out the original before it. However, in this economy, I'm all for the girlies experimenting with their looks on the low. After a brief hiatus, ballet flats are back with a vengeance. This simple — yet seriously stylish — shoe is the perfect excuse to explore your ever-evolving style. Personally, I'll be wearing these all summer long, and even as my wardrobe transitions into my fave fall season.

Emma Stone enchants with her grown out pixie crop
We've seen the beauty realm evolve in a multitude of ways over the past decade. Long gone are the days when celebrity beauty ops would be dedicated solely to the red carpet with techniques used often obscured from the public eye. We've fast moved on to an aspirational age of social media: how-to tutorials by the professional artists themselves, established content creators sharing their own cosmetic hacks and even full-face routines by some of the biggest A-listers. And we've all emerged the better for it. It's undeniable—the likes of Instagram and TikTok have given us all a space for unabashed self-expression. And for some, an artfully made-up mien or a customised change of talons are the perfect canvases to do so. Pop culture has had significant influence in the sphere. Experimentation is abound, with novice creators and popular personalities alike attempting to ace a make-up look that is all the rage or share a thematic one-off look for others to recreate. Then begs the question: how do we sieve out the best of all? Make-up trends surely begin somewhere, and learning from our seasoned celebrities is never a bad place to start if you're feeling overwhelmed. Vogue Singapore might be of help to you on that front—with our monthly curation of captivating beauty moments, courtesy of our favourite faces from Hollywood, the K-pop scene and more, just for that fresh jazz of inspiration. This month, June heralded the start of the northern summer—and there's plenty of pointers to heed for a seasonal beauty refresh. Celebrities like Sofia Richie Grainge and Somi make stunning cases for the chic bob haircut, while Emma Stone's grown out pixie crop is as alluring as it was when she debuted it. Conversely, on the beauty front, Jodie Comer and Nara Smith opted for romantic shades of berry pink and dusty rose for their Mediterranean make-up looks. For more on these looks, scroll down to see the month's celebrity beauty highlights: @ninapark 1 / 14 Emma Stone The allure of Emma's angelic pixie crop is only enhanced by Nina Park's make-up artistry. Pairing prettily with her tousled strands, a classic jet-black eyeliner and mascara combination adds a touch of definition to her warm-toned base. Getty 2 / 14 Jenna Ortega As the second season of Wednesday draws closer, Jenna Ortega looked every part the gothic glamour girl at Netflix's Tudum event. Her hair stylist Cesar Ramirez '[drew] inspiration from vintage hairstyles [in] homage to iconic Hollywood' while creating this defined-curl hair look. @sofiagrainge 3 / 14 Sofia Richie Grainge The razor-sharp bob remains an eternally chic crop. Just ask Sofia Richie Grainge, who debuted her own 'French bob' at the hands of hair stylist George Curran while on holiday in the South of France. @somsomi0309 4 / 14 Somi Another star making the case for the classy chop is Somi. Poised to make a comeback with her new song Extra next month, she shows off her own shortened locks in a promotional still. @simoneashley 5 / 14 Simone Ashley The picture of grace in Barcelona, Simone pairs her polka-dotted ensemble with a ballerina bun and cheekbones sculpted in deep cherry. @sabrinacarpenter 6 / 14 Sabrina Carpenter Her upcoming album Man's Best Friend has been a hot topic in pop culture this month. But we think Sabrina's sweet curls, pictured here on the set of her Manchild music video, are also deserving of recognition. @ninapark 7 / 14 Mia Goth Trust celebrity make-up artist Nina Park to serve up a bombshell-worthy beauty look. On Mia Goth, a winged smokey eye, Old Hollywood waves and a dusty pink pout more than fulfil this criteria. @naraaziza 8 / 14 Nara Smith A pregnant Nara Smith certainly radiates a certain glow while holidaying on the Amalfi Coast. A berry-tinged base from flushed cheeks to glossy lips seals the deal. @aespa_official 9 / 14 Aespa's Winter An Aespa comeback being nigh is always a signifier of experimental beauty looks to take note of. This time around, our favourite is these tight curls seen on Winter. Talk about volume up. @katseyeworld 10 / 14 Katseye's Manon Feeling blue has never looked better. Manon of Katseye co-ordinates her knitwear with some subtly placed, technicolour eye accoutrements. @tatemcrae 11 / 14 Tate McRae Whilst on tour, Tate McRae treats us to a close-up look at her glamorous beauty details—hyper-dramatic lashes, iridescent eyelids and a classic white manicure radiate the songstress' look-at-me energy. @jin_a_nana 12 / 14 Nana How to pull off a perfectly edgy beauty look for the Valentino fashion show? If you're Nana, you'll do so with wet-look locks, an insouciantly tightlined gaze, and the Valentino Puffer Gloss in tow. @jodiemcomer 13 / 14 Jodie Comer We've been loving taking in the soft yet impactful make-up seen on Jodie Comer whilst she does press for 28 Years Later. Seen here in Paris, make-up artist Naoko Sofia Patrizia Scintu created her classic beauty base, whilst hair stylist Christian Wood tended to her wavy tresses. @konichan7 14 / 14 Nana Komatsu For a Chanel event, Nana matches her vampy fit to tousled hair and lashings of jet-black liner to make an arresting impression.

Sofia Richie Grainge's Archival Saint Laurent Gown Is the Richest Outfit in Monaco
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Sofia Richie Grainge has embarked on her first Euro summer since her 2023 wedding in the South of France. To no surprise, it's off to a stylish start. First, the new mom embraced French girl attire in a striped blouse and mesh Alaïa ballet flats for a stop in Paris with her husband, Elliot Grainge. Next, the power couple jetted off to Monaco, where Grainge's aesthetic took a sultry—and archival Saint Laurent—turn. On June 5, the model swapped neutrals for a vibrant vintage dress. With help from her new stylist, Thomas Christos, Grainge got her hands on an original design from Yves Saint Laurent Spring 1979. Despite being 46 years old, the floor-length piece looked good as new. As seen on the runway, the one-shoulder gown was black with red crescent-shaped moons. This pattern aligned with the collection's overarching "Celestial" theme. On the accessories front, Grainge sourced Saint Laurent's current catalog for a complementary purse. She carried her black-and-red bag as a clutch, but it can also be worn as a crossbody with a gold chain. Unlike her one-of-a-kind gown, the minaudière is still available to shop. To finish, Grainge frosted herself with minimal gold necklaces, bracelets, and stud earrings, as to not overshadow the divine dress. Always on board for a vintage find, Grainge gave the mature gown new life. It actually looked quite different on the catwalk. Contrary to Grainge's simple styling, the runway model layered it underneath a coordinating red, pink, and black trench coat. Then, the stylist added a statement necklace, plus a feathery headband—one of the collection's trademark motifs. Finally, the model paired black tights with strappy gold sandals. Today, the entire ensemble might feel '80s-inspired, but it was rather ahead of its time. This concoction of colors was years away from becoming the norm. While some celebrities keep their vacations private, it seems Grainge is taking us along for the ride. And while she's so far remained loyal to runway brands, we might see some preppy sweaters and Reebok sneakers soon. She loves a high-low moment almost as much as her expanding vintage archive.
