Ford, Cadillac, Nissan among over 160,000 vehicles recalled: Check car recalls here
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued multiple recalls last week, including notices for over 100,000 Ford and Lincoln vehicles.

Here's what you need to know about the vehicle recalls published by NHTSA from March 31 to April 6.
Ford Motor Company recalled certain 2018-2020 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles over a seat belt for the driver or front passenger that may inadvertently lock.
Recalled vehicles may have retractor pretensioners may deploy inadvertently due to oxidation on a part within the pretensioner, according to the recall report.
Dealers are to inspect the seat belt retractor date codes and replace the seat belt retractors for free. Owner notification letters are to be sent April 14.
Affected vehicles: 105,322
Nissan recalled certain 2025 Kicks as they may have a certification label with an incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating and Gross Axle Weight Rating.
Dealers are to install new labels for free and notification letters are to be sent May 12.
Affected vehicles: 37,003
Genral Motors recalled certain 2025 Cadillac LYRIQs as the owner's manual may have inaccurate information about the vehicle's head restraints.
The head restraint description for the China market LYRIQ, which has a unique design, was inadvertently used in manuals for the U.S., according to the recall report.
GM is to mail owner's manual inserts with corrected illustrations and descriptions for free. Notification letters are to be sent May 12.

BMW recalled certain 2025 vehicles as the electrical connection between the starter-generator and battery in them may come loose.

Ford Motor Company recalled certain 2024-2025 F-150, Expedition and 2024 Lincoln Navigator vehicles as they may have a misaligned engine cup plug, which can result in a rapid oil leak.
The affected vehicles are equipped with a 3.5L GTDI engine.
Dealers are to inspect the engine cup plug alignment and replace the plug, if necessary, for free. Owner notification letters are to be sent May 26.

We can now answer all of these questions, thanks to a leaked window sticker on the Mustang 7G forum, for what is the most extreme and fastest road-going Mustang ever conceived. The 2025 Ford Mustang GTD has a base price of $318,760, slightly exceeding the previously estimated cost of $300k. It's still far and away the most expensive Mustang you can buy for the road. For some more perspective, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, one of the ultimate track toys, starts at $241,300. The GTD's base price isn't all that one has to take into consideration, though. As standard, you get an Akrapovic titanium exhaust, Brembo brakes with carbon ceramic rotors, various carbon fiber body panels, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires. Inside, there is a 12.4-inch digital gauge cluster and a 13.2-inch touchscreen with graphics that are unique to the GTD. If you tire of the sound of that 5.2-liter V8, there's a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. Recaro racing seats will hold occupants firmly in place. The customer who ordered this particular GTD added red brake calipers for $1,500 and an exposed carbon fiber roof for $10,000. The Equipment Group 100A appears not to have any cost, and includes a fixed wing, black seat belts, and a painted black lower surround. Overall, this customer had to cough up $339,460 for this Mustang GTD. The Mustang GTD is powered by a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine with an output of 815 horsepower. All of that is transferred to the rear wheels via an eight-speed Tremec dual-clutch transaxle. A special racing, semi-active suspension and all that grunt allowed the GTD to become the first American sports car to lap the Nurburgring in under seven minutes along the circuit's 12.9-mile stretch. The official time was six minutes and 52.072 seconds. Flat out, the Mustang GTD will reach a top speed of 202 mph, easily trumping the fastest 911 GT3, which can "only" reach 194 mph. It's been over a year since Ford began accepting applications for the Mustang GTD, but even that won't guarantee you one of these Mustangs, as Ford goes through a discerning process to determine who is worthy enough to buy it.
