A widespread heat warning remains in effect for southern Ontario.
'We've had record-breaking heat across southern Ontario, again today we'll be dealing with the same weather pattern,' said CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. 'If you are spending a lot of time outdoors, be sure to drink lots of water, take lots of breaks.'
With highs in the low to mid 30s, and the humidex feeling more like the low to mid 40s, Atchison warns this is when things get a bit dangerous and the possibility of heat stroke increases.
'When we take a look at the satellite radar we have some isolated showers and thunderstorms bubbling up. Not everyone's picking up the rainfall, but there will be the risk of storms as move through the evenint,' said Atchison.
Atchison says Tuesday will be the last of the extreme heat, however, we will stay humid through the extended forecast.
