Crack in Star's Sky Deck glass forces closure of walkway
Part of the Sky Deck at The Star Brisbane casino has been closed off after reports of a crack in one of the glass panels.
A Reddit user posted at the weekend that the Sky Deck's glass walkway had been 'shut by security as a huge crack has appeared'.
The post included a photo of the cracked panel on the Queen's Wharf lookout, with security cordoning off the area.
'An independent assessor has determined the structural integrity of the Sky Deck viewing platform is unaffected,' a Star spokeswoman told Brisbane Times.
'The small, impacted section remains isolated until replaced.'
