Is EPCOT's Reserved Fireworks Viewing Worth the Price? We Tried It to Find Out

EPCOT at Walt Disney World offers a nightly fireworks spectacular that is a must see experience for the end of your day at one of my favorite theme parks. Luminous The Symphony of Us is a mix of fireworks, fountains, music, and lights that incorporates songs from the Disney catalog.
EPCOT offers paid reserved viewing for this popular show and we just experienced it at Rose & Crown in the World Showcase. Is this paid upcharge worth it? Let's get into our experience.

Rose & Crown Dining Room Fireworks Viewing Price
EPCOT offers three reserved fireworks viewing which includes Rose & Crown, Spice Road Table, and the extravagant GEO-82 adult-only viewing.
Your dining package at Rose & Crown in the UK Pavilion is a pre fix menu where you can choose:
One appetizer
One entrée
One dessert
Selection of unlimited beverages
The selection of unlimited beverages does include beer and a specialty cocktail for adults which is a nice perk. The cost per adult is $92 per person and children ages 3 to 9 are $41 per person.
Is Reserved Fireworks Viewing for EPCOT Worth It?
As always, answering this question can be so subjective. For me, it's worth the cost to have a guaranteed place to sit and enjoy a nice meal while watching a nighttime spectacular like the EPCOT fireworks. Our visit was during one of the hottest days of the year and we were exhausted by the time fireworks rolled around. My group was extremely happy I booked this package when it came time to attend. Otherwise I don't think we would have lasted for the fireworks!
But do you need to purchase paid firework viewing to see the EPCOT fireworks? Absolutely not. Since the show takes place in the World Showcase Lagoon, it is quite easy to get a good view for the show with minimal time to prepare. You can read more about our favorite spots to watch the EPCOT fireworks in our guide.
Paid firework viewing is a luxury expense but it's one you might be glad you splurged on after a long day at EPCOT. The Rose & Crown is also a good value because of the unlimited alcohol adults can enjoy. Let's go over the menu, the experience, and the fireworks view so you know what to expect if you decide to splurge on EPCOT reserved fireworks viewing.
Rose & Crown Food Review- Fish and Chips and Unlimited Beer!
You can check in 15 minutes before your reservation but we noticed some guests checked in even earlier. You can view the pre-fix menu above which includes the Rose & Crown famous fish and chips.
We made use of the unlimited alcoholic beverages during our dining package. Considering most drinks at EPCOT are around $10 and up, this is a good value to take advantage of.
For my appetizer, I ordered the Coronation Salad.
My partner ordered the Scotch Egg. The menu at the Rose & Crown is known for their British fare so if you're interested in dining here anyways, this could also make the fireworks package worth it!
Here are the famous Rose & Crown Fish and Chips. According to my partner, these are worth the hype. He was excited to try these anyways so it's just another way the Rose & Crown fireworks package made sense for us.
I was thrilled to see they offered a vegetarian version of the Hot Pot.
Unfortunately, my excitement was short lived as this was definitely one of the worst Impossible items I've had at Walt Disney World. My family also tried it and agreed, this is not one of the best. The Impossible meat seemed undercooked and more chewy than usual. Overall, the flavor was not great.
The Sticky Toffee Pudding dessert was a favorite though amongst my group. We all ordered it and finished it very quickly!
Is the Rose & Crown Firework View Good?
When we checked in, there was a chance of rain coming soon so cast members seated us all on the top patio. Right before the show started, we were moved to the bottom patio. This is where they typically sit you so keep that in mind. This was an amazing view, we had direct eyeshot of the fountains in World Showcase lagoon.
This was our view from the viewing area with barely any zooming in on my camera. Our waitress kept refilling our drinks during the show as well so that was appreciated. This was a great way to end our day at EPCOT especially when our group was tired and worn out from the heat.

While it is never necessary to paid for reserved seating for EPCOT fireworks, it can be a nice splurge after a long day especially if you were already planning on a table service reservation for that evening.

Bruce Springsteen joins Zach Bryan for surprise 'Atlantic City' performance: Watch

Even Bruce Springsteen isn't too big for a cameo. The Boss joined musicians Zach Bryan and Caleb Followill of the Kings of Leon for a rendition of his 1982 classic "Atlantic City" at Bryan's July 20 MetLife Stadium show in New Jersey. The Kings of Leon and Jersey-based Rock band Front Bottoms were the openers for the concert, while Springsteen, 75, was a surprise guest, joining later for a quick-lick guitar solo on Bryan's track "Revival" during the encore. "Proud to call him my hero, one of the greatest songwriters to ever live," Bryan said before introducing the legendary rocker. "If you guys will have him, this is Bruce Springsteen!" Why Bruce Springsteen changed his set list to end concerts with this song The pair then moved on to play "Atlantic City," a harmonica-heavy ballad off Springsteen's 1982 album "Nebraska." Followill, Bryan and Springsteen stood at side-by-side mics, passing the lyrics back and forth, before embracing at the end of the track as the crowd coo-ed "Bruuuucee!" Bryan, 29, has followed in Springsteen's singer-songwriter footsteps, often folding angst into his scratchy, smoker's vocals and genre-bending music, which features a cocktail of folk, country and soul. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band still rock, quake and shake after 50 years Springsteen joined Bryan on stage last year in Brooklyn and Philadelphia, lending old-school rocker legitimacy to an emerging act. The two also collaborated on the track "Sandpaper" off Bryan's 2024 album, "The Great American Bar Scene." The July 20 show was the third for Bryan this weekend at MetLife, the first time a country artist played three nights in a single stand at the venue. Springsteen is fresh off the release of a previously unheard cache of tracks from years passed. On "Tracks II: The Lost Albums," the Boss treats fans to the musical roads not taken, with mystic, ranchera, and rock music blending on a masterful mix of some 83 songs. Kevin Feige Unveils Some of the MCU's Big Next Moves

The grind never stops at Marvel Studios, and Kevin Feige has gone and revealed some juicy nuggets about what is and isn't to come in the MCU. The longtime producer recently talked to press about Marvel's next moves, and he was naturally asked about Blade. We're now on the six-year anniversary of Mahershala Ali being announced for the role, and he recently told press to pester Marvel about the film's infamously troubled production. To Deadline and other outlets, Feige confirmed that yes, there have been four separate takes of the character in the development process so far: two in the past and two in the modern day. (One would've been set in the Prohibition era, and it was far enough along its background costumes were instead used for Sinners.) The version now being developed has 'landed on modern day' and will see Ali do more than 'put a leather outfit on him and have him start killing vampires.' 'We didn't want to do that to Mahershala and he didn't want to do that to us,' Feige explained to THR. 'You can start and have a good script and make it a great script through production, but we didn't feel confident we could do that on Blade.' Additionally, he confirmed that Ryan Coogler isn't in the running for that project, as he's focused on developing Black Panther 3. Another character fans have been wanting to come to the MCU is one Miles Morales, aka New York's one and only Spider-Man (other Spiders may be available). It sounds like fans should keep on waiting, as Feige said the studio 'has been told to stay away' by Sony, which owns Miles' film rights. The character's animated trilogy is expected to wrap with Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse in June 2027, but until then, any plans to bring him into the fold 'are nowhere' on the MCU's end. Sony, on the other hand, has its own plans for bringing him out of animation. When it comes to long-term plans, Feige told press Marvel's current roadmap stretches to 2032. Naturally, the X-Men are part of those plans, and they'll be recast for their MCU debut, which'll be directed by Thunderbolts' Jake Schreirer. X-fans will get one more chance to see the original Fox actors reprise their roles in Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. But the new X-Men will also prepare audiences for bigger MCU characters like Tony Stark and Steve Rogers to be eventually played by newer actors down the line. But don't worry about any of that until Secret Wars, which will end with a 'reset' that brings the X-Men and Fantastic Four into the same universe as the current crop of MCU heroes. Feige stressed to Variety that this isn't a reboot, which he considers 'a scary word that can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. Reset, singular timeline—we're thinking along those lines.' 'Secret Wars very, very much sets us up for the future,' Feige teased. 'Avengers: Endgame was about endings, literally, and Secret Wars is about beginnings.' Want more io9 news?
