The show marked the return of Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay as the beloved on-screen jodi Tulsi Virani and Mihir Virani. Now, several reports suggest that another actress, who was also a part of the initial season, will be making a Television comeback with the new season, and it's none other than Mandira Bedi.
According to Filmibeat, citing sources, Mandira Bedi is expected to return to television 25 years after her last noteworthy appearance, and it may only be with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She played Dr. Mandira Kapadia in the show's initial season, a figure whose powerful presence and tangled relationships with the Virani family created tension and conflict. Her performance was strong and unforgettable, and even though her role was brief, it left an indelible impression on the viewers.
Now that there are talks of her comeback, people are curious whether she would reprise her previous role or something new. Mandira's potential return has sparked much speculation. However, an official confirmation from the actress as well as the makers is still awaited.

According to Filmibeat, Mouni Roy and Pulkit Samrat, who played the beloved couple 'Krishna Tulsi' and 'Lakshya', will make a cameo appearance in the adaptation.
The new cast members of the show include Rohit Suchanti, Shagun Sharma, Aman Gandhi, Tanisha Mehta, Prachi Singh and Ankit Bhatia.

Popular South Korean actor Song Young-Kyu found dead
Last Updated: New Delhi, Aug 4 (PTI) Veteran South Korean actor Song Young-Kyu, known for his roles in popular K-dramas like 'Big Bet", 'Hwarang" and 'Hot Stove League", has been found dead inside a vehicle days after he was caught into a DUI scandal. The 55-year-old was reportedly found dead in a car on Sunday at a townhouse complex in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. An investigation has been launched by the Yongin Eastern Police Station. His cause of death remains unknown, local news website Koreaboo reported. The actor was arrested for drunk driving on June 19 with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent. The incident caused Song to be removed from several acting roles like ENA's 'The Defects", SBS's 'The Winning Try" and stage play 'Shakespeare In Love". 'The Defects" which he had already shot for, issued a statement which stated that his screen time would be restricted following the controversy. Song is survived by his wife and two daughters. In South Korea, celebrities are held to a higher moral grounds and controversies often lead to heavy scrutiny and impact on career.
