Alia Bhatt was spotted making her first public appearance since her half-brother Rahul Bhatt made headlines with his controversial remarks. The actress was seen exiting a private terminal in Mumbai along with husband Ranbir Kapoor and their daughter Raha Kapoor. While Ranbir carried little Raha in his arms, Alia walked ahead silently, dressed in a cream oversized shirt and wide-leg denims, her face partially shielded with sunglasses. She did not interact with paparazzi or pose for pictures and headed straight to the car, maintaining a low profile.
Ranbir, on the other hand, was casually dressed in a brown shirt, holding Raha close to his chest. The toddler was seen wearing a soft white and pink coord set and appeared calm in her father's arms. The family's quiet exit comes days after Rahul Bhatt's comments stirred controversy online.

In a recent interview with Hindi Rush, Rahul Bhatt compared Alia to his sister Pooja Bhatt and said that while Alia is successful and skilled in PR, she doesn't match Pooja in talent or charisma. 'She has got talent. She has the universe with her. She understands PR. She has everything and when you have everything, the universe conspires to make it happen," Rahul said, before adding, 'In my opinion, she is not even half of what my real sister Pooja is. Not in talent, not in looks, not in terms of being sexy. In front of my sister, she is 'paani kam chai'. Amongst the siblings, the most talented and the most moralistic is Pooja."
He further stated that it was Pooja who truly carried forward Mahesh Bhatt's cinematic legacy. 'Pooja took my father's legacy ahead. I saw her in her stardom. She was the biggest sex symbol of the country then," he said.
Despite the sharp words, Rahul acknowledged Alia's success and motherhood. 'I am on good terms with her… She is very successful and one can't just pick up the phone and say I am coming to meet you. She got the right husband. She is a good mother and she is taking care of my other stepsister Shaheen very well, which I respect more," he said.
Alia and Pooja previously shared screen space in Sadak 2, directed by Mahesh Bhatt.
