And particularly if you live far away from the beach or don't fancy leaving your house, you won't want to miss this.
Stevie Norman, a bargain hunter mother from the UK eagerly took to social media to share her handy trick that promises hours of fun for your little darlings.
Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with 2.6 million members, Stevie posted a snap of her DIY sand pit tent, leaving many open-mouthed.
Alongside her post, Stevie beamed: 'Best idea I've stolen.'
Stevie confirmed that instead of splashing loads of cash on a posh sand pit, she nabbed a pop-up tent for just £18 from B&M, as well as six bags of sand for just £24 from Tesco, thanks to a three for £12 deal.
Stevie put the blue tent in her garden and filled it with the purse-friendly sand, as well as some beach toys, which left her little girl overjoyed.
Thrilled with the idea, which has been hailed as 'great' by many, Stevie wrote: 'Now my two [kids] have plenty of space.'
Not only this, but she also acknowledged: 'I can zip it up so the neighbours' cats can't use it as a toilet.'
We think Stevie's hack is a great idea for keeping kids entertained - and if you're seriously strapped for cash, you can find bags of sand even cheaper from B&Q, for just £3.70 a bag.
Stevie's post has clearly impressed many, as it was shared just 13 hours ago, but has quickly racked up over 1,100 likes and 425 comments.
Parents are scrambling to The Range to nab new kids' toys - there's inflatables, swimming pools and up to 40% off
Social media users were open-mouthed by the simple but effective idea, that is sure to 'bring the beach home', and many eagerly raced to the comments to express this.
One person said: 'Very good idea, kids will love it.'

Library - If the weather is awful, head indoors and borrow books, audiobooks, dvds.
Cooking - Have your own mini bake-off, or Come Dine With Me challenge.
Playdates - Invite friends over for an afternoon of socialising.
Boardgames - Enjoy a little sibling rivalry with rounds of Monopoly or stretch your brain with Scrabble.
Whilst someone else tagged a loved one and penned: 'Bring the beach home for the girls.'
At the same time, another person alerted a Facebook user and wrote: 'Could have saved yourself some money.'
Just remember to zip it up at night or foxes will use it as a toilet

Despite this, not everyone was as on board with the idea, as one mother warmed: 'Don't do it. I did it years ago. Absolute nightmare when the time comes to empty it.'
A second stressed: 'Even though there is a big opening on the side the air is unable to circulate causing the internal temperature to be considerably hotter.'
And another acknowledged: 'Just remember to zip it up at night or foxes will use it as a toilet. Neighbour learnt this the hard way.'

Jake Paul leaks ‘s***-talking' private messages with Anthony Joshua goading him about being KO'd as trash talk ramps up
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) JAKE PAUL revealed he is goading Anthony Joshua about being knocked out - as their "s*** talking" ramps up behind the scenes. Paul audaciously called out the two-time heavyweight champion on his podcast earlier this year - vowing to knock Joshua out. And Paul has now revealed the two are already goading each other privately over social media - as all's fair in love and war. He said: "It was all nice, we've been cordial. He DMd me today like saying "LOL" to one of my training clips and then I sent him a "LOL" of of him getting knocked out. "And so I guess like we're kind of s*** talking, behind the scenes a bit. But I have a lot of love for Anthony Joshua. Joshua, 35, is yet to fight since being KO'd by Daniel Dubois, 27, at Wembley in September having undergone elbow surgery in May. Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed AJ hopes to return before the year is over - meanwhile Paul faces ex-middleweight world champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr on June 28. It comes after he stepped up to heavyweight in November to face Mike Tyson - who controversially made a comeback aged 58. 6 CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS Still over 100 MILLION tuned in to watch Paul's eight-round points win on Netflix - but it came at the cost of piling on TWO STONE. And Paul - who gorged on pasta, steaks and potatoes to bulk up - admitted the heavyweight jump was "brutal". Jake Paul reveals 'hefty' six-man hit-list of opponents for next fight including Anthony Joshua and world champ The 28-year-old added: "It was just too much and my body wasn't made for it and even when I got into the ring I just felt too fat. "So cruiserweight is definitely the perfect weight for me." Paul will come down from 16st 2lb to the 200lb cruiserweight limit of 14st 4lb to face Chavez in California. It followed after Canelo Alvarez, 34, pulled out of a shock deal to fight Paul in Las Vegas on May 3 - instead signing with Saudi Arabia's Turki Alalshikh. Canelo - who beat Chavez on points in 2017 - regained his undisputed super-middleweight titles with victory over William Scull in May. And now he defends the 168lb thrown in a September 13 super-fight against unbeaten American Terence Crawford, 37, as Paul was forced to look elsewhere. But he said: "Chavez and I have been going back and forth for a long time and he's always been a great opponent on the list of someone that I wanted to fight. "And now it made perfect sense to go up against him as a former world champion and just continuing to further my resume and get more time under the lights." Paul also revealed he is in talks to fight current cruiserweight champions Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez, 33, and Badou Jack, 41. And with Gervonta Davis, 30, also lined up for an exhibition bout - Paul says he is boxing's most desired man. He joked: I'm like like Megan Fox from Transformers movie like everyone wants me! So there's not enough time to do it all and it could make sense. Look, it might. "It might line up but at the end of the day, there's 100 people that want to fight me. I got Canelo, Gervonta, Anthony Joshua, Badou, Zurdo, Tommy Fury, KSI, the list keeps on going. "It's just about what makes sense and we'll see when the negotiations come but I would for sure entertain a fight with him." 6 Jake Paul faces Julio Cesar Chavez Jr next Credit: Reuters

Sabrina Carpenter announces new album Man's Best Friend
It comes after the 26-year-old singer from Pennsylvania released a new single titled Manchild last week, which is on track to claim the number one spot on the UK singles chart, according to the Official Chart: First Look. The record is to be released a year and a week after she dropped her chart-topping sixth studio album Short N' Sweet, which contains the number one hits Espresso, Taste and Please, Please, Please. In a message to fans, she said: 'My new album Man's Best Friend releases Aug 29 I didn't plan on releasing a new record however when inspiration strikes, I go to the studio, and when it doesn't, I still go to the studio. 'But luckily life was really happening to me and inspiration struck! 'I tried not to overthink the process this time, I felt so at ease making Man's Best Friend that I felt like it was a gift that shouldn't be taken for granted as every inch came together so effortlessly, different from my other previous projects where I'd bang my head to crack numerous codes. 'This one felt like riding a bike! I went back to some of my favourite artists growing up listening to a lot of Stevie, Dolly, Donna etc and was surprised to find so many of those artists I loved put out a new record every year for a long time. 'Can't say that is or will be the norm for me but this time it really eased my mind about putting something out when it feels right!' According to the Official Charts Company the singer is the first female artist in history to score both the UK's number one album and single simultaneously, while holding all three top positions on the singles chart with Taste at number one, Please Please Please at number two, and Espresso at number three. Sabrina Carpenter after winning the Global Success award during The BRIT Awards 2025 at London's O2 Arena (Lucy North/PA) Late last year her catchy pop track Espresso was named the biggest song of 2024 by BBC Radio 1 and in April the Official Charts Company said Short N' Sweet was one of the UK's biggest album of 2025 so far. Her music videos have seen appearances from a number of famous faces including Irish actor Barry Keoghan in Please, Please, Please. The Saltburn actor was romantically linked to Carpenter in late 2023, but they were reported to have split late last year. Carpenter is due to headline Hyde Park's British Summer Time festival (BST) this July where she will be joined by special guests including Clairo and Olivia Dean across two performances. Man's Best Friend will be released on August 29.
