Salman Khan 's 'Sikandar' couldn't pull the audience to the theaters, though the expectations from the film were quite high. Now, in an interview with Velaipechu Voice, the director stated that the base of the story was quite emotional. He said, "It's about a king who doesn't truly understand his wife. We are all like that—whether it's with our mother, friend, or wife, we often don't value relationships."
