The Parkside Plant Watering Spikes can be set up easily

Lidl's Parkside Plant Watering Spikes are tiny devices which can be easily planted in the soil, through its ergonomic stand.
All you need to do is fill the container and choose from one of the device's eight settings.
The settings range from one, which gives a slow release of water, and eight, which allows water to flow freely.
Continuous watering whilst you're away
Over time, the devices dribble water into the ground - allowing for a continuous irrigation of your plants.
They can be used indoors and outdoors too and have a capacity of 0.5L, which is roughly equivalent to a store-bought bottle of water.
The watering spikes also come in green, allowing them to easily blend in with your lawn.
The clever creations cost just £1.99 and will be available from July 6.
Lidl often goes viral for its low-cost, high-quality products.
The German retailer's plant range is a firm-favourite amongst shoppers, with many of its products selling for £1.99.
What else is in store?
Plants like the beautiful Hibiscus are available to buy in the store's popular middle aisle, where it keeps homeware and discount items.

On July 7, a new range of plants will become available - at the same time as the watering spikes.
British bedding plants are only £1.99 for six plug plants, whereas garden hydrangeas are £8.99 each.
If you prefer a fragrant plant, why not add English lavender into a pot or border - only £3.99.
There's also an assortment of clematis hitting stores on the same day for £4.99.
Mini roses and campanula are £2.99.
Interest in products like the watering spikes and its plant range has surged after the UK sizzled in roasting heatwaves.
Temperatures in the South East have soared in recent days, with highs of 33.6C being recorded in Kent.
The Wimbledon Championships had its hottest start on record, with temperatures of 32.9C being detected at the nearby Kew Gardens.

The mega-meal — thought to be the country's largest — has gone viral online, racking up more than 12million views on TikTok. And as a lifelong fish and chips fanatic, grabbing a portion was high on my 'to do' list after I moved back to the UK from California earlier this year. Living in Los Angeles for years, I'd switched to a diet consisting mainly of red meat, eggs and dairy, with few carbs — and very definitely no chips. I'd also worked fasting on Wednesdays into my routine. So it was a perfect storm when I was asked to try finishing Archie's extra large cod meal this week. To be fair, I was pretty hungry as I settled down to tuck in. So much so that, when the humongous platter was laid in front of me, I felt confident I could put a severe dent in it — if not finish the lot. Maybe the old me could have coped, but I'm a changed man. And despite the meal being delicious, I had to throw in the towel a quarter of the way through, boxing up the leftovers for friends and family to enjoy. Archie's owners, Alex Povalyaev, 44, and his wife Natalia, 52, say they came up with the chippy challenge when pals visited them in April last year. I visited the seaside town with the UK's best fish and chips Now word has spread and diners come from as far afield as Peru, California and Germany to give it a go. Mum-of-two Natalia, originally from Moscow, told me: 'Our friends came to visit us and we wanted to surprise them. "Alex found the 2.2kg fish, we cooked it, filmed making it and posted it on TikTok — then it went viral. "It's got almost 4million views, and then people started asking for it, so we decided to put it on the menu and it became really popular. 'People see the big fish meal on TikTok and want to try it.' Owner Alex now gets stopped on the street by fans wanting his photo because the extra large cod meal has become so famous. Customers are advised to pre-order the dish to ensure the shop has a big enough piece of fish ready to fry. Each fillet usually weighs between 1.5kg and 2.2kg after it has been battered, compared to a standard cod portion which typically comes in at 300g. Describing how the big dish is just too filling for diners, Natalia said: 'We had one guy message us to ask if he could do it for a challenge. 'If he could manage it, it would be free and, if not, he would pay. 'He almost finished it. He ate all the fish, but he couldn't finish the sides and chips. 'He was a big guy, but he couldn't do it. Princess Andre and Rocco Ritchie among Tatler's best dressed for 2025
Princess Andre, who has appeared in reality TV shows alongside her famous mother and father, is the second best-dressed person of 2025, according to fashion and lifestyle magazine Tatler. Rocco Ritchie, an artist who studied at London's Central Saint Martins, is third on the list, with model and socialite Lady Lola Bute and her half-sister, Jazzy De Lisser, joint first. The magazine said 18-year-old Princess has a wardrobe filled with 'Y2K revival hits' and 'is the face of a new generation of British pop culture royalty'. She has more than 760,000 followers on Instagram and made her modelling debut last year with women's fashion company PrettyLittleThing. Rocco, whose mother is US pop star Madonna, is 'impeccably tailored on the red carpet at his father Guy's premieres', according to Tatler. With support from fashion house Giorgio Armani, he put on an exhibition of his works, titled The Tourist, in Paris last year. In the viral clip, she revealed she has no one else in the picture to lend a hand, which always left her in a sticky situation over the school holidays. So, the mum planned and paid for her kids to spend most of their time off school at various holiday clubs. "I had it all planned out, I knew exactly where the kids would be," she explained. But as the time got closer, the realisation that she wouldn't see her little ones over the summer holidays and that she'd be spending all of her hard-earned money on childcare hit her "like a ton of bricks." "I cannot force my son who has got SEN needs and a four year old to go to holiday clubs the whole of the six weeks holidays," she said. So, Loren decided to leave her job to look after her kids, which she said worked out better for her. In the comment section of the video, the mum noted that she doesn't currently receive DLA [Disability Living Allowance for children] which is partly why it works out cheaper for her to stay at home and help her son. At the end of the clip, the mum said she would still need to work though, but wasn't sure what her next career move would be. Keen for something out of her comfort zone, the mum said she would try to be a social media influencer on TikTok and asked viewers to follow her so she could give it a good shot. After sharing her decision to quit her job other parents were quick to share their experiences in the comment section of the clip. Kathryn Thomas reveals 'mistake' she made during school run One said: "Sometimes not working actually has more benefits than working. In my case, I have a child with a disability. "I worked for 11 years, and it was exhausting – I was losing myself and my child in the process. Staying home with him turned out to be the best decision." And another mum shared her solution for working during the summer holidays, she said: "I started up as self employed part time cleaner. "I'm on my own basically with no help around me, my six year old SEN is not in school so she comes to work with me. She cant be with others so she cant even do holiday clubs." And someone else said: "I'm having to send my son to holiday club every day as a single mum and I feel so bad as he does not want to go and every morning is a battle." "It's so hard, you work to provide for your family, yet are worse off for working! Its crazy! I'm in the same situation," someone else commented on the clip.
