All India Rank 11, six others from Telangana, in UPSC Civil Services Exam final list
Seven candidates from Telangana, including All-India Rank 11 Ettaboyina Sai Shivani of Warangal (Urban), featured in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) civil services examination 2024 results, declared on Tuesday. As per initial reports, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana produced 33 ranks in the list of 1,009 ranks.
According to Telangana Chief Minister's Office's post on X, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated the seven rankers, who were also beneficiaries of ₹1 lakh assistance through Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastam scheme in August 2024.
The successful candidates include Ettaboyina Sai Shivani (AIR 11), Hari Prasad Potharaju (255) of Warangal, Preethi Raparthi (451) of Medchal-Malkajgiri, Nagaraja Naik Banothu (697) of Khammam, Suryateja Thogaru (799) of Rangareddy, Anjaneyulu Gokamalla (934) of Nagarkurnool, and Ramtenki Sudhaker (949) Komuram Bheem Asifabad.
'I wish them all the very best and hope to see them play a pivotal role in the service of the nation and in nation-building,' the CMO quoted Mr. Reddy as saying.
Hyderabad's IAS coaching centres claim top ranks
Firecrackers, photographs, and press releases conveyed the jubilation of civil services coaching centres in Hyderabad's Ashok Nagar, the hub of civil services exam preparation.
According to a release from Analog IAS academy, it secured 90 ranks or 9% of the total 1,009 ranks declared.
'For every coaching centre, there are two important dreams — to achieve all-India rank one and securing a hundred ranks, which we achieved in 2021. The results achieved today are synonymous with the kind of teaching methodologies we adopted,' its director Srikanth Vinnakota stated. Its list of the 90 successful candidates includes 10 ranks below the first 100.
For CSB IAS academy run by Bala Latha Mallavarapu, a preliminary verification showed it secured over 15 ranks. The academy listed nine ranks including 46 and 68.
Another prominent academy — RC Reddy IAS Study Crcle — in its success meet held at its office claimed securing over 27 ranks, including 46, 68 and 94, and other top performers who availed its various courses.
'The success of our aspirants, including those from rural and lower-middle-class backgrounds, is a testament to the dedication and hard work they put into their preparation. We strive to provide the necessary exam-oriented guidance that empowers them to achieve their dreams,' its founder R. C. Reddy stated.
According to Dr. Rambabu Paladugu of La Excellence IAS academy, the number of selections from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana this year is 78 and more than 13 are in the top-100. As per his observation, most of the selected students hail from middle-class background, many of their parents are teachers or employees in government service, and the finalists are senior students who had prepared in groups.

Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India] June 10 (ANI): The 23rd edition of Gujarat's innovative initiative, 'Shala Praveshotsav Kanya Kelavani Mahotsav,' which aims to achieve 100% enrollment of school-going children and promote girls' education in the state, will be held from June 26 to 28, 2025. He added that in the 22 years of the Praveshotsav, much good work, including radical reforms in the state's education sector, has been accomplished. Let us make it more dynamic and work as a team, and based on the experiences and feedback of previous Praveshotsavs, let us work together for more result-oriented outcomes. The Shala Praveshotsav, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2002-03, has completed 22 years. This year, the 23rd Shala Praveshotsav and Kanya Kelavani Mahotsav is set to be held with the theme 'Come, let's make Shala Praveshotsav a social festival' in 1529 government secondary and higher secondary schools, 5134 grant-in-aid secondary and higher secondary schools, and 31,824 government primary schools across the state. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the Education Department has planned to enrol a total of 25.75 lakh students during this Shala Praveshotsav. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel urged the creation of an environment where more and more children enroll in government schools. There are many things behind my comments. Many secrets will be revealed in the future. Anyone involved in corruption will face stringent action. Recently, we have acted against IAS officers, mine owners, and contractors. Many senior officials are facing the consequences, with over 200 senior officials under scrutiny. Many big fish are in jail." He said the government is taking steps to investigate mining, chit fund scams, and various corruption cases. 'WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE' Former CM Naveen Patnaik, however, slammed the BJP government accusing it of focusing on long speeches and advertisements rather than real development. During the launch of the 'Jana Jagaran Abhiyan' at Sankha Bhawan, he questioned the state government's achievements. 'They call it a people's government. But where are the people? Long speeches and big advertisements alone cannot bring development," Patnaik said. Patnaik said during the BJD's tenure, 90 per cent of the state's population benefited from the 'Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana'. 'The current Ayushman Bharat scheme fails to provide medicine or free hospital treatment. Thousands, including mothers, the elderly, cancer patients, and children, are facing harassment," he said. He alleged that the health system has collapsed, with posts of chief district medical officer lying vacant in 19 out of 30 districts. 'This is the so-called success of the current government," he said. Patnaik further claimed that 'Mission Shakti' brought glory to the state across India, but the present government has weakened this movement in a year. He noted that in 2000, the BJD had inherited a state with a loan burden of Rs 18,000 crore, and the government was running on overdraft. 'By 2024, the BJD left a treasury surplus of Rs 45,000 crore. The current government is now running on record loans," he added. He alleged that farmers are being exploited by millers while irrigation projects, which reached record high under the BJD, have been halted by the current regime.

Gandhinagar: The 23rd edition of Shala Praveshotsav, the annual school enrolment drive of Gujarat govt, will be held across all districts of the state from June 26 to 28. Chief minister Bhupendra Patel , all ministers in the state govt, and over 400 IAS, IPS, and IFS officers will participate in the enrolment drive. The CM presided over a meeting in Gandhinagar on Tuesday, which was attended by all ministers and officers who will participate in the enrolment drive. This year's praveshotsav will be held in 1,529 govt secondary and higher secondary schools, 5,134 grant-in-aid secondary and higher secondary schools, and 31,824 govt primary schools across the state. The enrolment drive, which began in 2002-03 during the tenure of Narendra Modi as xhief minister of Gujarat, aims at achieving 100% enrolment of students in schools.
