April 2025 Breakdown: April 2025 vs. April 2024: The index increased to 119.9 points, up from 96.3 points in April 2024 – a 24.6% year-over-year rise. This monthly increase was largely due to higher prices for: Green chickpeas Tomatoes Melons These accounted for 73.2% of the price increases.
