Nicola Coughlan to star in I Am Helen on Channel 4

Nicola Coughlan is to star in the new series of Channel 4's female-led drama anthology I Am..., titled I Am Helen. Bridgerton and Derry Girls star Coughlan has developed I Am Helen with the award-winning series' writer-creator-director Dominic Savage, who collaborates with his leading actors on the stories for each I Am... season. Previous series have starred Vicky McClure (I Am Nicola), Samantha Morton (I Am Kirsty), Gemma Chan (I Am Hannah), Suranne Jones (I Am Victoria), Letitia Wright (I Am Danielle), Lesley Manville (I Am Maria), and Kate Winslet (I Am Ruth). They are available to watch on the Channel 4 player. "It's an absolute honour to be part of telling the next I Am… story alongside Dominic Savage - a singular talent and a storyteller deeply committed to exploring the breadth of the female experience," said Coughlan. "To follow in the footsteps of the brilliant women who've collaborated with him on this series feels truly surreal, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be embarking on this journey." FANS of the comedy series Taskmaster, where comedians compete in a series of usually embarrassing and tricky tasks, need to check out this new experience. This summer, English Heritage and Taskmaster have joined forces to bring family fun and games to 17 historical sites across the UK - and it's absolutely free. A POPULAR Channel 4 show looks set to be making a comeback over 25 years on from its debut. Iain hopes to have the new series on air in 2026. He said of the show's return: 'Loads of you for years have been asking me to bring back The 11 O'Clock Show and I didn't think it was within my gift.
