Forgotten Real Madrid star to train with club's reserves
That's according to The Athletic, who point towards Reinier Jesus as the player in question.
Reinier, for his part, has spent the last five years out on loan away from Spain's capital.
After being brought in all the way back in 2020 from his home country of Brazil with lofty expectations on his shoulders, it is safe to say that the 23-year-old has since failed to live up to the hype.
In fact, Reinier is yet to take to take to the pitch at senior level in Real Madrid's colours on even a solitary occasion.
This past season, the attacking midfielder plied his trade in Spain's 2nd division, with Granada.
After the parties went their separate ways following the expiration of his loan terms, however, Reinier finds himself in a familiar situation, back in Madrid with no part to play.
Talks, in turn, will soon be opened with the player's agent, over a likely permanent parting of ways before the summer is out.
In the meantime, though, Reiner will maintain fitness with Los Blancos' reserves.
As per a report from :
'Real Madrid midfielder Reinier Jesus will train with the club's reserve team, Real Madrid Castilla, amidst uncertainty over his future at the club.'

Dibling among trio to not feature against Wrexham amid transfer talks
SAINTS manager Will Still confirmed Tyler Dibling will not be available to face Wrexham as talks around his transfer exit continue. Dibling, 19, is one of three players who will not be selected by the boss as they ponder their future amid a likely departure this summer. Sam Edozie, in talks with Strasbourg, and Joe Aribo, in the final year of his contract, will also not face the newly-promoted side on Saturday. Dibling has been put into non-contact individual training by Saints as they look to protect their £50million-valued asset in the transfer window. Ahead of facing Wrexham, Still explained: "There are a few players who are where they're at in their career and making choices. "Tyler won't be there. Sam Edozie won't be there, and Joe Aribo won't be in the squad either." Charlie Taylor, Will Smallbone, James Bree and Taylor Harwood-Bellis are also sidelined with injuries ahead of the Championship season opener. Still added: "Charlie's still got a couple of more days in front of him before he can get minutes in his legs but he's been back in training for a few days. "This is good but he won't be in the squad just yet. Will Smallbone has got a calf injury, so he'll be out for a little while. James Bree, same thing. "He'll be out for a bit with his leg as well after coming off last weekend. And Taylor Harwood-Bellis is nearing match fitness. "He looks really good in training, but he's obviously been out for quite a while, so we're not going to force him back into it now - next week."

Borussia Dortmund: Guirassy rules out move to Saudi Arabia
The Guinean striker denies receiving any offers from Saudi Pro League clubs Serhou Guirassy / Borussia Dortmund Serhou Guirassy has put an end to speculation about his future. The 29-year-old Guinean striker has officially denied persistent rumors linking him with a move to the Saudi Pro League during this summer transfer window. In an interview with German media, the former Stuttgart frontman clarified his situation. The Guinea international expressed his surprise at how widespread these rumors had become. Guirassy insists he has never been directly approached by representatives of Saudi clubs, specifying that such negotiations typically go through his brother and his agent. "There's often a lot of talk about a transfer to Saudi Arabia, but I haven't heard anything. People keep asking me about it, but I've never heard a thing. I don't deal with these matters myself. If anyone calls about it, my brother and my agent handle it. It's not my problem, so I can't say for sure if there was interest. Of course, it's possible, but I'm happy here at BVB and I want to win trophies," the Guinea international assured. These comments come as the Saudi Pro League continues to make enticing offers to lure European stars. Several media outlets had mentioned interest from Al-Hilal in the Guinean striker, but these reports have not been confirmed by the player's camp. Guirassy is thus committed to continuing with the Dortmund project after a brilliant 2024/25 season. Across 47 matches in all competitions, he scored 35 goals and provided 9 assists.
