Nik Bonitto's great quote on contract status: 'I just want to compete for a championship'
As the Denver Broncos continue to negotiate a long-term contract extension with outside linebacker Nik Bonitto, there seems to be a sense that a deal is inevitable -- it's just a question of when. 'They're going well," Bonitto said Tuesday when asked about extension talks. "I feel like there's been good communication on both sides. I think it's just my agent -- I feel like he's one of the best in the game. I feel like I gotta trust what he's doing. Knowing how they feel about me upstairs, I feel like something will get done. It's just a matter of when. Until then, I just have to keep doing me.' Bonitto said the Broncos have made it clear that re-signing him is a priority for them, and it's just a matter of finalizing the details. When asked if he'd like to wait to sign until after Micah Parsons gets an extension, Bonitto said he had no preference and would leave that up to his agent. Bonitto also noted that the edge market is going in his favor because it continues to rise. When asked if he wants to have a deal done before the regular season begins, the 25-year-old pass rusher had a perfect response. "I mean, not really," Bonitto said. "At the end of the day, I'm still under contract for another year, so, yeah, I would like to get it done, but that's like the least of my worries, honestly. I just want to compete for a championship this year [and] do all the things that we have set out to do as a team and as a defense." As his agent works on ironing out an extension, Bonitto is focused on preparing for another strong season as Denver's defense looks to contend for a Super Bowl in 2025. It's a great mentality to have. The contract will get done eventually. In the meantime, Bonitto's focused on football. Social: Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X! Madison Beer's 2024 Chargers appearance causes stir after Justin Herbert dating rumors
Madison Beer was bolting up long before she was linked to star Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. Days after the 26-year-old singer was spotted with the former first-round pick Sunday in Los Angeles, internet sleuths unearthed photos of Beer attending a Chargers home game at SoFi Stadium last year. Dressed in a dark blue sweatshirt and jeans, Beer took in the Chargers' 34-27 rally over the Broncos on Dec. 19 after trailing 21-13 at the half. Before being linked to Herbert, Beer has been involved with TikTok influencer Nick Austin since 2020. 6 The sighting ignited dating rumors between the two. BACKGRID When asked if she's a 'relationship person' in an April 2025 cover story with Cosmopolitan, Beer replied, 'For sure.' 'I love people. I meet someone, I love them. I'm like, 'Okay, I'm never letting you go. You'll be with me forever until you hurt me.' That's the deal. I think I also, because I have such a weird life and never feel safe and comfortable with someone, when I cross that line of 'you're my boyfriend,' it feels really big,' she said. It remains to be seen if Beer will make a return trip to SoFi Stadium this season.

Titans L'Jarius Sneed activated from PUP
In a move that I doubted would ever happen, Tennessee Titans CB L'Jarius Sneed has passed his physical and been activated from the PUP list. Sneed is supposed to participate in practice in a limited capacity going forward. There is no shot he will play in the preseason finale, but this move gives him a shot to be ready to play week one against the Denver Broncos. The Titans desperately need him back on the field because they are extremely thin at the corner position. Sneed, whom the Titans acquired for a third round pick before the 2024 season, played in just five games last season. He initially went on the IR with a quad injury, but it was revealed right before training camp that he had a procedure on his knee this offseason. That was the reason he started training camp on the PUP list. When healthy, Sneed has been one of the best corners in the league. That's why the Titans gave him a 4-year deal with $51.5 million in guaranteed money after the trade. Hopefully, he can regain that form this year.
