The eight members of the new look Pac-12 conference have signed their Grant of Rights and membership agreements, a spokesperson for the conference revealed to Ross Dellenger of Yahoo! Sports on Monday. Advertisement The two holdovers from the old Pac-12, Oregon State and Washington State, will officially be joined by five former Mountain West members in San Diego State, Colorado State, Boise State, Utah State, and Fresno State, as well as Gonzaga, starting on July 1, 2026. The signing of the Grant of Rights is a signal the league's long awaited media rights package will be revealed very soon, potentially within the week according to Dellenger. Dellenger also reports the media rights package is expected to feature as many as four different partners, and that having the package solidified will pave the way for the conference to offer invitations to expansion targets. Advertisement The conference has a temporary deal with CBS, The CW, and ESPN to cover Oregon State and Washington State football in 2025, which could be an indication of which partners are involved in the permanent deal. Currently the Pac-12 has eight full-time members but only seven in college football, meaning they will need at least one more to reach the FBS minimum. Texas State is considered the frontrunner for that final spot at the moment now that talks with the AAC schools - including Memphis, Tulane, and Rice - have died down. UNLV was considered a potential target as well although that is far less likely at the moment, especially with ongoing mediation between the Pac-12 and Mountain West over poaching fees. Ryan Nembhard is not the only former Gonzaga basketball star working out with teams before the 2025 NBA draft later this month. Advertisement Ben Gregg, who starred at local Clackamas high school prior to his five year career in Spokane, is one of six players working out with the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday. Joining Gregg in the workout will be forwards Jamiya Neal (Creighton) and Mohamed Diawara (Cholet) as well as guards Damari Monsanto (UTSA), Cameron Hildreth (Wake Forest) and Caleb Grill (Missouri). The Blazers have just one pick in the upcoming draft, No. 11 overall, and are likely looking at this crop of players as potential summer league additions who could compete for a roster spot and/or a two-way contract during training camp. Of the six players on this list, the only one showing up on mock drafts with any regularity is Grill. It's not uncommon for teams to use early pre-draft workouts to evaluate potential undrafted talent for hidden gems, and/or to bring in local guys. Advertisement In this case Gregg is both after he starred at nearby Clackamas high school before embarking on a five year career with Gonzaga, going from end of the bench to key starter over the past half decade. Gregg started 20 out of 35 games last year for the Zags, averaging 9.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists while leading the WCC in two point field goal percentage at 72.9%. Gregg's three point shot fell from 37.7% as a sophomore and junior to just 27.1% last year, which seriously hurt his NBA draft stock. At 6'9 with a nose for offensive rebounds, strong defensive instincts, and good touch around the rim, Gregg's ability to space the floor was a key hinge for his pro prospects. While the odds of him going in the second round remain slim, working out with NBA teams is a great sign Gregg will get a chance to prove himself in summer league and could land him a spot in the G-League next playing at the Chiles Center with the Rip City Remix, a building he has historically played extremely well at including a 24 point performance this past season on perfect 10-10 shooting.
