The Armour of Manipur Organisation (AMO) has denounced the unlawful detention of the four individuals, labelling it as "unfortunate and unacceptable". During a press conference at Langol Lai Manai, AMO vice-chairman Ningthoukhongjam Rita made it clear that the arrested Thangjam Basanti is no longer associated with their organisation, emphasising that her conduct was purely personal and bears no connection to AMO whatsoever.
