Ward Ajeeb is a talented and rising Syrian actor who has quickly gained prominence in the entertainment industry.
With a passion for his craft and a dedication to portraying complex characters, Ward has made a strong impression on both the screen and stage. Ward made his acting debut in 2018 with the feature film SOLO, directed by the renowned Abdel Latif Abdel Hamid.
This marked the beginning of his journey in the film industry, showcasing his potential as a rising talent. He later starred in his second cinematic project, Joud Saeed's SALMA. The film was officially selected for the prestigious Cairo International Film Festival. He eventually made his debut on the smaller screen came in 2024 with the series AGHMED EINAK, where he portrayed Joud, a character on the spectrum.
His sensitive and powerful performance earned him widespread acclaim along with an Audience Award for Best Syrian Actor at the Pikselay Awards. Before his recent outings, Ward was a graduate of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Syria, where he honed his skills as a stage actor. During his studies, he appeared in several notable theatrical productions, including AL HADID and MA LAM YAKTUB SHAKESPEARE.
These performances demonstrated his ability to captivate live audiences and showcased his versatility as an actor. Ward's upcoming project is a major milestone in his career: a 90-episode series with MBC, EZEL, the Arabic adaptation of the famous Turkish series Ezel.
Ward will play the character Merit, who is the brother of the renowned actor Basel Khaiat's character. Safaa Sultaan attended as a guest with Lebanese TV show host Rabia Al Zayyat via the Lebanese channel, Al Jadeed, sparking wide controversy online regarding her unfamiliar look. Sultan apologized to the public on behalf of Deema Bayyaa during a television interview, stressing that they share a strong friendship and that her friend did not intend to offend or provoke public opinion.
