Prime Video to bring 'Gen V,' 'Upload' to San Diego Comic-Con
The streamer will showcase such series as The Mighty Nein, The Legend of Vox Machina, Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, Upload, Butterfly and Gen V.
The lineup kicks off with a July 24 11:15 p.m. panel featuring cast members from Mighty Nein and Vox Machina. Laura Bailey, Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Liam O'Brien, Ashley Jonson, Taliesin Jaffe, Sam Riegel and Travis Willingham will be in attendance.
Vivenne Medrano, Erika Henningsen, Amir Talai, Brandon Rogers and Richard Horvitz will be present during the 12:30 p.m. "Hellaverse" panel, which includes both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss.
The Upload Complete panel July 25 features "clips and conversation with Greg Daniels and the cast of Upload, while Daniel Dae Kim and other cast and crew will present Butterfly during the 1:30 p.m. panel.
Jaz Sinclair, Erek Luh, Maddie Phillips, Hamish Linklater and P.J. Byrne are among the cast members who will attend the Gen V panel at 3:45 p.m. The Boys spinoff was renewed for Season 2 in 2023.

'I don't want us to be separated right after we get married,' Belly tells Jeremiah. So, she decides, 'I'll stay.' Immediately, many millennial viewers were reminded of another lovestruck woman who famously chose her boyfriend over a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the French capital: Lauren Conrad from MTV's The Hills. In the Season 1 finale of The Hills, which aired in 2006, Conrad, the show's star, is offered a coveted summer internship with Teen Vogue in Paris. But like Belly, she ultimately chooses to spend the summer with her boyfriend, Jason, on a beach in Los Angeles. The aftermath of this widely frowned-upon decision was addressed in the season two premiere, during a conversation between Conrad, her coworker Whitney Port and Teen Vogue editor Lisa Love. 'Lauren didn't go to Paris. She's going to always be known as the girl who didn't go to Paris,' Love says, before asking Conrad, 'Do you regret that decision? How was your summer at the beach with your boyfriend? Did that work out for you?' Having clocked the uncanny similarities between Belly's and Conrad's decisions, fans of The Summer I Turned Pretty and The Hills have been heading to social media platforms like TikTok and X to air their grievances. Giving up Paris for a 'manchild,' according to these loyal viewers, is so not the move. It's clear, as another fan points out, that Belly didn't watch The Hills. So, does Belly really not go to Paris? And if she doesn't, is it something she'll live to regret? And is Jeremiah actually her forever love? The Summer I Turned Pretty is based on a trilogy of books written by author Jenny Han, so technically, those who have read them know how this story plays out — though Han has teased a possible change of the ending. For right now, it seems Belly is satisfied with choosing the boy over the dream. Conrad was too, though she and Jason ultimately broke up.

Reports: Jeremy Strong to play Zuckerberg in 'Social Network Part II'

File Photo by Jim Ruymen/UPI | License Photo July 31 (UPI) -- Succession actor Jeremy Strong is reportedly in talks to portray Facebook co-founder and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in a sequel to the 2010 film The Social Network. The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday that Social Network writer Aaron Sorkin will return to write and helm the new movie, which is inspired by "The Facebook Files," a 2021 series of Wall Street Journal articles penned by Jeff Horwitz. Jesse Eisenberg portrayed Zuckerberg, now 41, in the first film, directed by David Fincher. Eisenberg's performance earned him an Academy Award nomination. The first movie chronicled the founding of Facebook, which officially launched in 2004 ahead of Zuckerberg's 30th birthday. Deadline confirmed Strong, 46, is the top choice to play Zuckerberg in the sequel. The actor would join rumored cast members Jeremy Allen White (The Bear) and Mikey Madison (Anora), with White possibly portraying Horwitz and Madison as a whistleblower. No formal offers have been made to cast members, according to Variety. Strong is also known for his role as Roy Cohn in The Apprentice.
