‘Absolutely untrue': Power skipper slams ‘disgusting' rumours as AFL Integrity Unit steps in

'I want to make it very clear that this is absolutely untrue, hasn't been even an inkling of truth to any part of what people are saying about me or my family,' Rozee said on SEN's Fireball.
'It's pretty disappointing to know that some people can stoop that low and have that sort of character.
'Anything to do with family shouldn't even be considered when people think these things are funny cause it does impact their lives, especially a lot more than even mine because I'm obviously in the spotlight a bit more than our wives and kids
'But for anyone that's still wondering or 100 per cent, my wife and I are amazing, we've never been better.
'I've got great relationships with everyone at the football club.
'This is a completely made up rumour and I just want to put a full stop on it because it got out of hand there for a bit.'
Rozee said the AFL Integrity Unit are looking into the situation as the Power skipper highlighted the continued need for keyboard warriors to be held accountable.
'I'd love to know who made it up,' he said.
'It's really tough these days unfortunately with people able to make fake accounts and say pretty much whatever they want behind the keyboard so I'll wait and see.
'The main thing is that my family and that are ok and we can move past it.'

Dragons coach Shane Flanagan was fuming at an obstruction non-call for Adam Pompey's first try that cost his side in their 14-10 loss to the Warriors in Round 24. Pompey's try in the 63rd minute drew Flanagan's ire, as Dragons five-eighth Lyhkan King-Togia appealed for an obstruction after being impeded by lead runner Marata Niukore in the lead-up. Flanagan was not asked about the crucial decision post-match, but chose to bring it up anyway. 'I know you haven't asked the question, but I am going to give an answer,' Flanagan said. 'It was really tough for us that what was an obstruction last week is not an obstruction this week. 'I started playing footy when I was four years old and I don't know the rules anymore. I deadset do not know the rules. 'So it is tough, but we are a tough club and this is a really connected unit and we will fight really hard for the next three weeks.' Flanagan was pressed if he thought it was a clear obstruction from Niukore. 'As I said last week it was an obstruction and this week it is not,' Flanagan said. 'The boys asked out on the field numerous times and they just got shooed away, so that is frustrating.' Despite the loss Flanagan was proud of his players after they lost three forwards Jack de Belin, Hamish Stewart and Hame Sele to category one concussions, which saw them reduced to two on the bench including 18th man Tyrell Sloan. 'I feel a lot of pride,' Flanagan said. 'I'm proud of the group. Their effort. Their attitude. Their commitment. 'It was one of the better performances I have seen for a long period of time. 'To lose three forwards so early in the game and then you lose three interchanges there as well, so we had just one forward just rotating around and we had to activate our 18th man. 'I can't talk highly enough of the group. How hard they tried. How committed they are and how connected they are to the jersey and fighting for each other, so really proud.' Flanagan revealed the three players were doing OK, but would miss a week at least. 'Jack is looking OK,' Flanagan said. 'He is up and about. His 250th game, so really disappointing that happened. 'Hame Sele is very similar. He is feeling OK and Hamish Stewart has got a pretty nasty cut to the back of his head form the de Belin incident. 'So they will all miss a week more than likely I would think.' Dragons skipper Damien Cook was proud of his troops after a game unlike any other he had experienced. 'No I don't think I have ever been a part of a game like that,' Cook said. 'We spoke about it at halftime this could be one of the greatest wins if we could steal it, but still the result is still a massive win for us as a team. 'Just the resilience and character that we showed today is a massive step in a good direction for us.'

A community football coach has been sacked after making a crude social media remark about fitness influencer Tammy Hembrow's relationship with AFL star Bailey Smith. Earlier this week, Smith and Hembrow were spotted on a Gold Coast date, kissing and sharing lunch at a waterfront restaurant. The sighting fuelled speculation of a new romance just two months after Hembrow's split from her former husband, Matt Zukowski. Later, she appeared online wearing what looked like Smith's jacket. Smith has not confirmed the relationship, responding only with a string of expletives when questioned by reporters at Geelong training. Their public outing attracted a wave of online commentary, much of it targeting Hembrow with misogynistic remarks. A man responsible for mentoring and shaping the points of view of young men is just casually throwing around sexist slurs.' The club said it consulted with its women's team and members before making the decision. 'We are incredibly proud to have a women's team, female representation on our board and women actively involved as members of our club. 'We have consulted with members of our women's side and we are committed to offering them and all the females in our club any support necessary. 'We also remain committed to supporting anyone else affected by these comments and welcome open communication with those who may have concerns.' It has been an intense week for Brownlow Medal fancy Smith and fitness queen Hembrow since news of their date first broke. Matt Wright trial: Pilot's alleged spray at boss over stormy weather egg collection request
A young pilot told the Outback Wrangler to 'get f--ked, get vaccinated and go fly his own helicopter' after his boss chewed him out for pulling out of an unsafe mission. Sebastian Robinson on Friday finished giving evidence after being grilled over four days in the trial of Aussie reality television star, Matt Wright. The Apple TV and Netflix star has pleaded not guilty to three counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice during the investigation into a chopper crash that killed his co-star Chris 'Willow' Wilson. It is not alleged Mr Wright is responsible for the crash. On Friday the Northern Territory jury heard about the 'Australia Day incident' where the 28-year-old pilot and Mr Wright had a fight a month before the fatal crash. Mr Robinson said on January 26, he, Mr Wilson and fellow pilot Michael Burbidge were contracted for a crocodile egg collecting mission at the mouth of the Daly River, in the NT. The jury was shown photos of the chopper with an oncoming Wet Season storm looming in the background. Mr Robinson said he radioed Mr Burbidge to say 'it was too dangerous to continue, because the storm was huge', and they mutually agreed to head back into town. He said they went back to the Noonamah Tavern to watch the traditional Australia Day 'ute run' and have a 'beer and a feed'. Mr Robinson said Mr Wright called him 'very hostile and abusive', telling the young pilot 'What the f--k are youse doing back? Egg collecting's not meant to be f—king easy'. 'You sit out there, you f--king ... you wait the weather out. You f--king deal with it,' Mr Wright allegedly said. The jury has previously heard Mr Wright was not able to take part in egg collecting missions in early 2022 because he was an 'anti-vaxxer'. 'I told him to get f--ked, get vaccinated and fly his own helicopter,' Mr Robinson said on Friday. In a group chat with Mr Burbidge and Mr Wilson, the young pilot alleged Mr Wright 'called us all bludgers' for pulling out of the dangerous conditions. The young pilot this contributed to his decision to leave Mr Wright's Helibrook, and he establishing his own company Arnhem Helicopters. Mr Wright sent Mr Robinson a message the next day saying he was 'sorry for blowing up'. The trial continues on Monday.
