Amir receives phone call from Saudi crown prince
DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call from his brother HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
During the call, HRH Saudi Crown Prince affirmed his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar and its strong condemnation of the Iranian attack on Al Udeid Air Base, which constitutes a flagrant violation of the State of Qatar's sovereignty and airspace, as well as of international law and the UN Charter.
HRH Saudi Crown Prince also stressed his country's absolute rejection of any aggression that threatens the security and safety of the State of Qatar and undermines the security and stability of the region, calling on HH the Amir to exercise self-restraint and resort to diplomatic solutions.
For his part, HH the Amir expressed his thanks to HRH Saudi Crown Prince for his sincere fraternal feelings and valued solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people.

Amir expresses Qatar's strong condemnation of the attack to Iranian president
DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has received a phone call from , President of the Islamic Republic of Iran HE Dr Masoud Pezeshkian. At the beginning of the call, His Highness the Amir reiterated Qatar's strong condemnation of the attack on Al Udeid Air Base by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, considering it a flagrant violation of its sovereignty and airspace, as well as of international law and the United Nations Charter. His Highness the Amir also expressed that this violation is completely inconsistent with the principle of good neighbourliness and the close relations between the two countries, especially since Qatar has always been an advocate of dialogue with Iran and has made strenuous diplomatic efforts in this regard. His Highness the Amir stressed the need for an immediate cessation of military operations and a serious return to the negotiating table and dialogue, in an effort to overcome this crisis and preserve the security of the region and the safety of its people. For his part, the Iranian President expressed his regret to His Highness the Amir and the brotherly Qatari people for the damage caused by this attack, noting that the State of Qatar and its people were not the target of this operation, and that this attack does not represent a threat to the State of Qatar.
